There will be those, mainly those on the left, who will state that I do not have the right to ask that questions. By them questioning if I have this right, they proved they have no understanding of the liberties protected in the Constitution. If I were to state that they have no right to questions me, it would be because I did not understand the Constitution.
For our purposes, I will define what I mean by an American. An American would be a person who believes in the same principles as our founders. These principles can be shown by paraphrasing Patrick Henry. In this quote by Patrick Henry, I have changed his word peace for my word safety. ““Is life so dear, or SAFETY so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!” An American will value liberty over safety. Our founders said our nation would honor the Natural Rights of life, liberty, and property. They said these rights are given to us by God, and are inalienable, which means we can not surrender them to government or anybody else. Non-Americans would surrender their natural rights to government. Our nation was founded on the principle of individualism where the rights of the individual are valued above the dictates of the collective. If you value limiting the aspirations and accomplishments of the individual by punishing them for their achievements in ways such as excessively taxing them, demonizing them, or punishing them for their achievements in any way, you are not an American. Our nation was founded on the principle that government must be limited. If you value big government that picks winners and losers, that indoctrinates and does not educate, that controls what you can or cannot do, that controls what you can or cannot say, and that controls your life, you are not an American. Our nation was founded on the principle of rule of law. If you favor a judicial system that will apply law in a different manner because of economic, political, or social position, you are not an American. I could go on and on, but in fact, what I am defining as an American would be those who value the freedoms and liberties our fathers instituted and believed they were protecting when they drafted and ratified the United States Constitution, including the Bill of Rights. Specifically, if you favor the platform and proposed policies of today’s Democrats, you are favoring the opposite of what our founders intended, therefore you must ask yourself the question, “Am I an American.” If you favor federal control over education, you must ask yourself, “Am I an American.” If you are supporting the lock down, which is putting safety above liberty, you must ask yourself, “Am I an American.” If you support Democrat candidates, you must ask yourself, “Am I an American.”

The Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party is placing their comrades, the Chinese Communist Party, above the good of the United States. This should be no surprise to anybody. Marx said all borders should be eliminated along with any national identities or allegiances. All identity and allegiance should be to the international Communist Party. The Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party is now openly identifying with and showing total allegiance to the Communist party. They are also following a famous comrade of theirs, Comrade Lenin, when he said, “A lie told often enough becomes the truth.”
Sen. Chris Murphy (Marxist/Progressive-CT) followed the trend set by fellow Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) of exonerating China and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) of any fault for the spread of COVID-19. In an appearance with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Sen. Murphy deems China innocent: ” "The reason that we're in the crisis that we are today is not because of anything that China did, but what President Trump did.” It is irrefutable that the CCP lied about the stature of the coronavirus, and with the help of the World Health Organization (WHO), the CCP was able to cover up the real statistics, including the number of deaths, caused by the virus. Jim Acosta, CNN White House Correspondent, appeared on-air and said Trump was appearing to look like "Baghdad Bob" and denying reality for focusing blame on China and the World Health Organization. And the United States arm of the International Communist Party, the DNC said, "Trump is willing to put global health further at risk to try to deflect blame from his own failures. But the American people know the truth: It was Trump who ignored warnings for months while he praised China's 'transparency.' It is Trump who cut CDC staff in China who could have shared information about the pandemic. It is Trump's incompetence that continues to make this crisis worse than it had to be.” A nationwide Morning Consult poll shows that while a plurality of Americans hold the China's communist government responsible for the outbreak of the pandemic in the United States, Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) voters were nearly twice as likely to blame President Trump. The collectivist (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same) movement has as its goal to control the lives and the thoughts of all people. The elite of the collectivists, that would be Marx, Engels, Lenin, Hitler, Mao, Castro, Chavez, Obama, Jarrett, Holder, and all their comrades, believe that big government is critical to their end goal. The end goal is a Marxist totalitarian state under the domination of the “Dictatorship of the Proletariat” that controls the lives and the thoughts of all people. This is what Marx meant when he said his classless society must be a totally conforming society. This is the society to which Obama was referring when he said the United States was about to be transformed.
What we have learned over the last couple of months is just how controlling they are. I remember being in Albania and speaking with people in that country that had lived under the communist rule of Enver Hoxha. When these people talked about live under the regime, I shook my head and thought how totally draconian. Over the last several months, those conversations I had in Albania have been replayed in real live here in the United States. Albanians were prohibited from assembling unless granted permission by the government. Albanians activities and movements were restricted to activities and movements approved by the government. Of course, God was removed from public live and those who worshiped God in private were punished if discovered. Citizens were rewarded for revealing anti-government activities of others. What could or could not be purchased in stores, and when it could be purchased was controlled by the government. Travel in and out of the country, and even travel within Albania was controlled by the government. When the country was finally opened in the early 1990’s, the people of Albania learned that what they were told by their news organizations was controlled and often times the opposite of the truth. They realized that the only standard of the press and government was a double standard. They understood that arbitrary law, law that applied to different people depending on political, social, or economic position was just that arbitrary, even thought it was called rule of law. What has become so abundantly clear is that not only is the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) national party putting forth these same policies imposed on the people of Albania by their Marxist/Progressive leaders as their position, but local Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) are imposing those same policies of control. What is truly frightening is how readily the American public have accepted these despotic actions in the name of safety and have agreed to their liberties being totally eliminated, including their liberty of assembly and unrestricted religious freedom. It is the duty and responsibility of every Freedom Loving American to equip themselves so they can join in the freedom saving effort of “Setting Brushfires of Freedom” in the minds of fellow Americans. THE DANGER OF POLITICAL PARTIES TO OUR NATION PER THE WARNING BY GEORGE WASHINGTON APPLIES TO BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE. It is our duty to not apply a double standard. Yes, I know the left would have no standards if it were not for double standards, but that does not excuse us on the correct side of the aisle to live by those same dishonest standards. We condemn the left when they apply the standard that all women should be believed in the case of Kavanaugh but not in the case of Biden. It is my position, and I hope all Freedom Loving Americans position, that we do not support unconstitutional orders because it is damaging to the nation and further erodes the Constitution. On Facebook I responded to a post by a true Freedom Loving American who posted that President Trump should sign an executive order mandating voter ID, and asked how many agreed with him. I responded that I did not agree with him. “Don Jans No, I do not believe he has the power to do so and it would drive another nail into the coffin of the Constitution. Clause 1: Time, place, and manner of holding The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing [sic] Senators.🤓” He replied, “Don Jans where does it state ID or no ID?” I wrote back with this response, “Don Jans The Constitution does not mention voter ID that I can find but, it does talks about which branch has authority for elections and it does not give any authority over elections to the Executive Branch. I would think if President Trump just signed an ID executive order it would be as unconstitutional as it was for Obama to sign DACA. The executive has no authority over immigration either unless congress gives it to them, which it did not so far as DACA was concerned. Unconstitutional is unconstitutional no matter the subject or the party. 🤓” He replied, “Don Jans Got it. Thanks!” But then, what has become far to common, another individual responded, in a manner that has become far to prevalent from both sides of the isle, by not contributing to the conversation with a meaningful response. Their response did not refer to the Constitution and the constitutionality of the act, but only responded in a dogmatic and accusatory manner. The saddest part is that this individual will probably claim they support the Constitution and freedom and liberty, but are in truth advocating for a dictatorship. Tyranny is tyranny. Their reply, “Don Jans don’t know what your talking about. Already being done in many area all he has to do is write an executive order. You must be one of those democrats trying to ruin our country.” Please my Freedom Loving Americans, do not resort to these tactics. They are as damaging to our Republic coming from the left as they are coming from you. If we are to remain a free and independent nation, we cannot destroy our Constitution just for political gain. It is the individual that responded in such a manner that needs a Freedom Loving American to set a brushfire of freedom in the mind of that American. This is the title of my new book that I hope to have in print by the end of May. The idea began at least 2 years or so ago. It came about because of the interest people had in my response during the Question and Answer period after I would speak to different groups. The question was, “so what do we do?”
That our nation has moved away from the nation our founders formed and intended is no revelation. Neither is the fact that we continue to move more and more from individualism to collectivism, from limited government to big dictatorial government, and from freedom and liberty to tyranny. This has become more clear in the happenings of the last few months. There have been several different worrisome trends that have taken place. I have asked the same question in different ways, and continue to receive a resounding NO to this question. The question is, “if the 2020 Americans had been the 1760, 1770, and 1780 Americans, would the happenings of July 4, 1776, and October 19, 1781, have occurred.” The answer is a resoundingly NO! The Declaration of Independence was read to the troops on July 4. 1776, with the intent of raising their spirits. The document officially stated to the world that the American colonies were now a free nation, independent from the tyranny of the King and Parliament of Britain. Today’s Americans do not show the same disdain for the tyranny of big government that did the colonists. It was on October 19, 1781, that the British Army was surrendered to General George Washington in Yorktown and is deemed to be the event that won the war for the colonies. Of course, if July 4, 1776, had not happened, a surrender would never have taken place. Even if Independence had been declared, I do not believe the Americans of 2020 would have had the resolve to pursue independence for the 6 years, remember the war really began in 1775, that it took to win the war. When I look at the makeup of the American people of today, and how they respond to different situations, my position is strengthened. Today we are a population that fears hardship and difficulties more than we desire freedom and liberty. Patrick Henry declared, “Give me liberty or give me death.” Today’s Americans say give me safety and I will surrender my liberty. We are seeing this reinforced every minute of every day. We are allowing governors, mayors, judges, and sheriffs, to dictate to us how we are to run our lives because these officials have declared that unless we follow their orders, no matter how despotic, we will die. The American people are saying that these despots can ignore our liberties so long as they claim we will be safe. We have a press today that is the agent of a political party and will do nothing that would illuminate anti-freedom policies of that political party. Case in point would be how they reported on the sexual harassment claim against Judge Kavanaugh in contrast to Joe Biden. A free nation needs a press that is at least consistent in their reporting, even if they are not fair. The public will then have a standard on which to judge and understand the news of that outlet. We have an entrenched bureaucracy that has determined their will is the only will that counts, They have refuted the sovereignty of the people and have declared that they, as members of the bureaucracy, are sovereign and the people will again be relegated to the role of servant. This deep state is the result of a government that continues to grow and while growing it becomes more and more powerful while the people became more and tolerant of government dictates. Many 2020 Americans are now vehemently opposing a duly elected president who has stated it is his intent to return sovereignty to the people and place the bureaucracy in its intended role of being a servant to the will of the people. My biggest concern is that in 2020, America has a major political party that has at the center of its party platform the destruction of and total elimination of those principles deemed essential for freedom by our founders. The founders purposefully limited government, this political party advocates for a totally controlling and dominant government. The founders deemed essential to freedom the strict adherence to the concept of rule of law, this political party has implemented the policy of arbitrary law with the idea that a majority can determine how the law is to be applied. The founders deemed essential that our nation be a republic with the protection of liberties for all, even the minority, while this party has claimed we are to be a democracy with the right of the majority to dictate who has liberties and rights. The founders deemed as essential for freedom that we have a divided government with the legislative branch being the only branch with the power to make law, while this party has claimed that the role of the legislative branch can be completely bypassed and that the opinion of a judge must be acknowledged as the law of the land. The founders deemed it as essential to freedom that the natural rights of life, liberty, and property are unalienable rights, while this party has advocated that natural rights can be regulated and eliminated by government as government deems best. The founders deemed as essential to freedom that the rights of the individual be superior to any group-imposed limitations, while this party advocates that the desire and ambition of the individual be limited to those imposed by the group. The challenge to we Americans in 2020 who have the same desire for liberty that propelled our founders to declare independence and then prevail until it was secured, must be just as resolved to that end as were they. We who favor liberty and freedom must understand our heritage, must understand those who oppose American values and why, and then we must set about “Setting Brushfires of Freedom” in the minds of the many Americans who are not sure what they believe. The challenge is real. Will you take up the cause to preserve the freedom and liberty that is our heritage? Will you join me in "Setting Brushfires of Freedom" in the minds of fellow Americans. We can not discuss this enough. If enough people are aware and understand the consequences, perhaps we could even have a positive result.
In all situations like we are facing now with the hysteria and fright of a situation that has been proven time after time to be totally overstated, the result is more and more government control. In the 20th century we had the recession that became the great depression of the 1930’s. People elected a big government can solve all problems to be our head of state. FDR greatly expanded the power and control of government while negating the free market and capitalism along with individual ingenuity and creativity. FDR claimed that it was government that could and should solve all problems. He was wrong. It is the free market and individuals that can and should solve all problems. The nation of the United States has suffered from that FDR mentality ever since. What we know is the big government solutions of FDR extended and deepened the economic problems. At the end of FDR’s second term the unemployment rate was more severe than when he took office, and the United States was in a deep recession heading toward another depression. While the world was thrown into a terrible war, FDR was saved and given credit for recovery. The facts reveal that it was Americans going back to work to produce supplies for Great Britain to combat Germany that took our economy out of the doldrums produced by the policies of FDR. The result of the FDR policies for the United States was a huge national debt and government regulations and control of private industry that would hamper the United States to this very day. We saw the banking crisis of 2008. Again, the answer was government debt and control. The result was again an economic downturn that was deepened and extended because of government interference with the United States having its national debt doubled and more and more regulations that stifled the free marketplace for years. President Trump greatly reduced the regulation and control of government over business and the American people and almost instantaneously our economy became the envy of the world. The virus struck and government took control of the lives of the people in away never before known. The people had been programmed and indoctrinated to believe that government is their friend and protector. They no longer understood that government is not their friend. Government believes it should be the controller of the lives of the people and how the people think. The apparent result of this latest crisis will be greatly increased national debt and expanded powers of state and local government. We must understand that government is people and the free enterprise marketplace is people. In order to look at the differences between government and the free marketplace, we must examine the differences between the people in both. Long time government people, both elected and bureaucrats, believe that they can better run a person’s life than can the individual. The long-time government people, elected and bureaucrats, are not judged on results but longevity. The longer they have served, the more of an expert they are considered to be. The results of decisions or lack thereof is not the criteria considered, only longevity. In the free marketplace, longevity is not a consideration, especially for people responsible for making decisions. Results of decisions made are the determining factor as to how much of an expert an individual really is. This difference has a startling effect on how decisions are made. The government people are more concerned about not being criticized, so their decisions will be based on prevailing thought and opinion, referred to often as the prudent man rule. What seemed to be reasonable at the time? What was the safest course? What would I best be able to defend? The marketplace demands positive results so the marketplace individual has to look beyond protecting themselves and their standings as an expert and truly analyze a situation using what they have learned and know and what others might know. They must be reasonable and responsible risk takers. If we understand these differences as a nation, when the hysteria and fright have subsided, we as a nation will demand that our elected officials and bureaucrats be judged on the same basis as the people in the marketplace, on results. The prudent man rule will be thrown to the wind and the result test will be universally used. 40-year people like Dr. Fauci, who has learned and uses the CYA and prudent man rule will no longer be a part of the government. Pay him a pension because he cannot survive in the free marketplace. Our nation will be much stronger and more prosperous when these types of people are forced to produce and not just exist. In order for this to happen it is critical that Donald Trump be elected to another four-year term. He is a businessman who understands the value of results. Dementia Joe, oh by the way where is Hunter, Biden is the definition of the long-term government individual. He is not only the definition, but will extend and expand failed government. Anybody who has read my writings knows that I like to use definitions, others insight, and historical events when discussing different situations. It is my goal to put forth a cogent position and then hopefully have others respond, agreeing or disagreeing, with cogent replies. I reject bumper stickers or 30 second sound bites as being cogent, but hope to have well-reasoned replies that are clear and logical.
The question I put forth, is can the United States remain a republic, (we must define republic) or does the current political acumen demands a democracy (we must define democracy). Both a republic and a democracy have an elected head of state, and are not a monarchy where rule is passed from one generation to the next within the same family. A democracy may or may not have elected representatives, (a direct democracy would not) while a republic will always have elected representatives. A democracy may or may not have a constitution, while a republic will always have a constitution (written or understood). A democracy always operates based on majority rule and disregards rights of the minority while a republic can at times have positions not held by the majority and it always protects the rights of the minority. The United States was founded as a Republic. We have a written constitution. The rights protected in the Constitution are protected for members of the majority and the minority. Because of our electoral college and the Senate make up where each state has two senators regardless of population, it is conceivable, in fact has happened, that positions are taken that are contrary to the majority. This is all based on historical facts and accepted definitions. “It has been observed by an honorable gentleman, that a pure democracy, if it were practicable, would be the most perfect government. Experience has proved, that no position in politics is more false than this. The ancient democracies, in which the people themselves deliberated, never possessed one feature of good government. Their very character was tyranny; their figure deformity.” Alexander Hamilton, "Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths." James Madison "The evils we experience flow from the excess of democracy. The people do not want virtue, but are the dupes of pretended patriots." Elbridge Gerry – served as the fifth vice-president. What is critical for a republic to function? You will favor a republic if you believe for instance that liberties and rights should be protected for all. You will favor a republic if you believe for instance that checks must be placed on the dictates of the majority. You will favor a republic if you believe for instance that “rule of law” must exist, that is the law is applied equally to all and does not change for people you support or people you oppose. You will favor a republic if you believe that the final say on the law is a constitution and not the majority. Many people through out the ages have favored different forms of government from a republic. We have seen aristocracies, oligarchies, and democracies. I was told once by a very wise person that the most efficient form of government would be a benevolent dictatorship, an aristocracy. My purpose is not to debate the best form of government but to stipulate that we wish to remain a republic. The question would be, what is critical for a republic to exist and function. I would put forth that is essential that the population be: A virtuous population A population that has been taught the accurate history of our country and understands our founding principles A population that is capable of debating a question honestly without reverting to personal attacks A population that is capable of accepting the long-standing principle of peaceful transfer of power A population that will place the protection of the rights of the minority above the implementation of their own wishes and desires – not extending the minority greater rights but the same rights A population that place the good of the country against the goals of a political party A population that is more interested in honestly debating and discussing a situation than it is in playing a got you game A population that places as its highest priority the protection of freedom and liberty and not the ability to control and dictate to others the limitations of liberties where there is disagreement A press that places as its highest priority, a fair and accurate portrayal of a situation or incident A press where when listening or reading you can not determine the political side, they favor What form of government do you favor and what characteristics are best suited for that government? Please ponder, reflect, and study and then reply with cogent responses and not bumper stickers or 30 second sound bites. I do not know if this has taken place elsewhere in the country, but finally a case that is at least reported.
The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States protects specific rights of the people. Government is told it cannot infringe on these rights in any way. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. The Constitution of the United States clearly says no abridgement of the right to peaceably assemble. The definition of peaceable is disposed to peace: not contentious or quarrelsome, quietly behaved, free from strife or disorder. The way I read the first amendment, it would mean if I am assembling with people, for any reason, and my assembly is peaceful, government, federal, state, or local, cannot prohibit that assembly. I fail to see any exception to this right. The greatest gift we Americans were given is our right to liberty. In the Constitution many liberties are defined, but our founders wanted to make sure that our liberties were not limited to those enumerated so they added the 9th amendment as well which says, “The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.” We know the collectivists (Marxist, communists, socialists, progressives, Democrats, - all virtually the same) do not believe in liberties and despise the Untied States Constitution. These collectivists believe it is their right to dictate on what basis the American citizen can practice religion if at all, speak and think, report on the government, assemble, and petition the government. The collectivist’s beliefs are exactly the opposite of what were the beliefs of the founders. Aspiring Marxists despots who hold positions such as governor, mayor, or judge, are violating the United States Constitution. If they claim they are relying on some local or statewide law that might give them the power to violate the United States Constitution, they are relying on an unconstitutional law. Thank you, people of Idaho. Restrictions placed on social gatherings as a result of the coronavirus have run into a rebellion in some areas of Idaho. The New York Times reported that in one instance, a few dozen people gathered last week inside, to hear a spokesman, who insisted it was an assertion of a constitutional right to assemble peacefully. The newspaper said the meeting appeared to violate an order by Gov. Brad Little to avoid group gatherings. The spokesman maintained he hoped to put together a network of people to help those facing closure of their businesses or government interference as a result of the pandemic. “If it gets bad enough, and our rights are infringed upon enough, we can physically stand in defense in whatever way we need to,” the spokesman said. “But we hope we don’t have to get there.” And others are also claiming the governor’s stay-at-home order an infringement on their liberties. The Bonner County Sheriff said that the public had been “misled” by public health officials’ predictions and called on the governor to order an emergency session of the legislature to debate the stay-at-home order. “In the spirit of liberty and the constitution, you can request those that are sick to stay home,” the sheriff said. “But, at the same time, you must release the rest of us to go on with our normal business.” Little, according to the Idaho Statesman, has defended the order, saying: “… We absolutely have to have this take place.” Notice the governor said it is his right and perhaps obligation to ignore the liberties of the people that are guaranteed by the United States Constitution. My question would be, then why do we even have the Constitution? Perhaps we should formally nullify it, because so many governors, mayors, and judges have and are. I will stand with the people from Idaho, will you. Leftists have always believed they can better run people’s lives than can the people. They have advocated that the state or the collective must dictate to the individual what is best for them. This is the essence of collectivism (Marxism, communism, socialism, progressive, Democrat, all virtually the same). Collectivism is the enemy of individualism, socialism is the enemy of capitalism, communism is the enemy of freedom, and Democrats are the enemy of the United States Constitution and the freedom and liberty it protects.
From the early 20th century the collectivist movement has been alive and well in the United States. Woodrow Wilson was a proponent of collectivism and the state controlling the people. Franklin Roosevelt, a head of state who had known communists in the highest echelons of his administration including Harry Hopkins, akin to Obama and Valarie Jarrett, promoted the power of the state over the individual, even to the point of the state dictating the chicken the individual could choose. And we had Barack Obama advance this theory to an even higher level as he touted that Government is the friend of the people, exactly the opposite of our founding fathers who wrote the United States Constitution to protect the people from the evil of government. President Trump was elected primarily because he promised he would arrest the massive usurpation of liberty and freedom by the government. What we are learning is that this can only occur when the people will become Americans again and demand that government plays its proper role, which is being a servant. Benjamin Franklin once said: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." Is this the point America has reached, the point where we no longer deserve liberty or safety? These two examples took place in the United States recently. It is however, becoming more and more common for governors, mayors, sheriffs, judges and others who have tasted power and belief their thirst to exercise this power in despotic means supersedes the Untied States Constitution. Coronavirus stay-at-home orders are getting severe in some parts of the country. We've seen cops break up driving parades and ticket people on leisurely drives for violating governors' commands to not leave their homes — despite not coming in contact with others. There are ongoing threats of fines and jail time for those who would dare leave their homes for non-pre-approved reasons. Everybody from pro-life protesters to paddleboarders to pastors have seen what happens when you violate commands to isolate. And now judges have ordered at least four people in Louisville, Kentucky, to wear ankle bracelets for repeatedly refusing to isolate themselves after being in contact with coronavirus patients, CNN reported. Two of the people fitted with the monitors have not tested positive for coronavirus. Citations were issued to 22 people found near the beach in Encinitas for violating the state’s stay at home order, authorities announced Saturday morning. The tickets were issued Friday to people who “were watching the sunset, having picnics near the beach,” according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. “Everyone is required to stay home, except to get food, care for a relative or friend, get necessary health care or go to an essential job,” a sheriff's department tweeted Saturday morning. “Complacency is the enemy. Take social distancing more seriously to stop coronavirus.” (This statement could have come from Lenin, Hitler, Mao, or all three.) The violations carry fines of up to $1,000 or six months in jail or both, the department said. People will say, but Don it is for our safety that we surrender our liberties to the dictates of the state. Need I remind you, Benjamin Franklin once said: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." The crisis the United States faces today, yesterday, and tomorrow is the destruction that is the evil of collectivism. Collectivism is the movement that all people must conform to the thoughts of the community and those who would differ are evil and must be quieted in any and every way possible. Collectivism is an all-encompassing term for the conformity demanding movements of Marxism, communism, socialism, progressives, and todays Democrat party.
The individual, or the person who will stand apart from the crowd, many times alone such as Samuel Adams did so often, is looked upon as an enemy of humanity. Individualism is that philosophy that champions the individual who will challenge the common position of the masses, the person who will say why, the person who will say show me, the person who will say “This can be done better” and then does it. Individualism is the philosophy upon which the United States was founded, the same philosophy that enabled the United States to become, “that shining city on a hill.” Collectivism has dominated society throughout history. It was set aside in the Western World after World War II for a short time, but is rearing its ugly head with vigor. The collectivist understands the mentality of the masses, and that mentality is that the masses will go along to get along and for the most part do not want to be bothered with matters beyond a very narrow band. The masses do not delineate between philosophies such as individualism and collectivism, but concentrate on the philosophy of meism. This is not wrong, just reality. The meists do become involved in times of crisis, because their world is directly affected. The collectivist understands this and takes advantage of it. The danger the collectivist posses to the meist, is that the collectivist has as their goal to control everybody. The collectivist demands complete loyalty and conformity to their ideals of conformity by all, and equality of all except the few elite within the controlling group of the collectivists. The collectivist has two overriding rules and they are, (1) our only standard is a double standard, and the second is like onto the first, (2) the ends always justify the means. Nothing is out of bounds when it comes to achieving the ultimate end of total conformity and equality as they define it. Today the world is facing what is being termed by many as threat to our very existence. Here is what we know. The very threat to our existence appears to be turning the coroner in many countries including Australia, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, and yes, the United States. We also know that those who are crying the loudest are the same people who said in January that we should not be concerned. This includes Fauci, De Blasio, and Pelosi. We also know that the original models used by those like Fauci were vastly overstated and their revisions have been vastly overstated. The numbers of cases and the deaths are small fractions of the original predictions and this is when any death remotely connected to the virus is called a death caused by the virus. We were told that the hospitals would be overwhelmed, and the hospital system would collapse. In the United States, we have many hospitals with empty beds and empty emergency rooms. The exception to this would be the New York City area, and the mainstream media is painting the picture that the New York City area represents the total United States. We have heard leaders of the collectivist movement like Clyburn and Newsom say that the collectivist movement must you this crisis to advance the collectivist movement that would entail abolishing completely the United States Constitution, which includes the Bill of Rights, and do as Marx said, “wrest degree by degree the capital from the capitalist.” As this “crisis” subsides, which it will and is, these same collectivists will take advantage of the meists, who became a part of the hysteria and begged the collectivists to take away their liberties for safety, by telling them that it was enemy #1 of the collectivist movement and that President Trump overreacted and caused the elimination of their livelihoods while they, the collectivists were advocating for moderation. I know this is a lie, but remember double standard and ends justify the means. The mainstream press will promote this lie, and the meists will start to sing that song. G F. W. Hegel said “To pit this single assertion, that “in the Absolute all is one,” against the organized whole of determinate and complete knowledge, or of knowledge which at least aims at and demands complete development – to give out its Absolute as the night in which, as we say, all cows are black – that is the very naïveté of emptiness of knowledge.” Hegel is credited by many to be the Father of Collectivism. I would disagree that he was the father, but was certainly a strong proponent. Marx and Engels both studied Hegel. Hegel was a German philosopher in the early half of the nineteenth century. The “Absolute” to which Hegel refers is the “end” to which the collectivist strives. This is the “classless society” of Marx and it is the ultimate of the reorganized government referred to by Clyburn and Newsom. The collectivist will use the strategy to which Hegel refers; "to use the naivete and emptiness that all cows are black," if it will move their movement closer to the “Absolute” or classless society advocated for by Marx, Lenin, Mao, Castro, Chavez, Obama, Sanders, and all the other collectivists who are promoting the Spectre sweeping America. I will continue to be an individualist who stands apart from the evil known as collectivism. Will you join me?
