ARE THERE ANY AMERICANS LEFT IN THE MARXIST/PROGRESSIVE (DEMOCRAT) PARTY

There was a day when a Democrat openly stated and was applauded when he stated, “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.”  This statement is roundly rebuked by those who would refer to themselves as Democrats today.  Not only is this statement roundly rebuked but another similar statement such as, “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for yourself,” is also roundly denounced.

The mantra of the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party goes to the very heart of the evil that is collectivism (Marxism, communism, socialism, progressives, Democrats – all virtually the same) and that is to not just ask what my country can give me but I demand my country fulfill all my needs and wants.  The strength of America is that our government was to be a limited government with two primary functions: to protect the natural rights given to each individual by our Creator and to protect the citizens from both foreign and domestic enemies.  The Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party today says that the role of government must be the dominating, dictatorial force with power over the individual’s life and thoughts.  The Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party claims it is the role of government to dictate who lives and who does not, what liberty each has and how much of that liberty they have, and what the desires and ambitions of the individual should be and the limits government should place on those desires and limits.

The direction the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party would have us take would be to fully embrace “The Road to Tyranny.”  If you have not read my book, I strongly urge you to get it and read it.  The strategies and policies being proposed today by the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) are the exact strategies needed to reach their desired goal of fundamentally transforming the United States into a Marxist tyrannical nation.

Shortly I will be releasing “Two Visions of America.”  We are hearing one of the visions being enunciated by the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats), Learn what the visions are, how the vision upon which our country was founded and flourished came about and what it is.  Learn what the inevitable results of both visions are.  Yes, we already know the results.

If we who love freedom and independence wish to live in a county that advances life, liberty, and property or the pursuit of happiness, then we must totally understand the strategies and beliefs of those who despise what we cherish.  Our founders made their choice because they understood the strategies and beliefs of those who despised what they cherished.  Let us not lose what we cherish because we will not take the time and make the effort to equip ourselves to be as Sam Adams said, “a tireless minority keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.”

WHY SOCIALISM ALWAYS FAILS - YES BERNIE EVEN DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM

Karl Marx said the essence of fairness and equality is his classless society, the same social and economic policies the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party candidates said we should put into full affect because they will bring fairness and prosperity to the United States as we heard last night in the “I can spend more than you can” irresponsible so called debate last night, is “from each according to his abilities to each according to his needs.”  Take from the producer and give to the taker has always been a formula that brings financial and social collapse to any society that employs this ridiculous concept.

Those who advocate for this “socially just” and “fair” idea, can not give even one example of where this concept has produced an economically and socially strong society.  Having not one example that substantiates their claims, these collectivists (Marxists, communists, socialists, progressives, Democrats – all virtually the same) resort to the concept that those who practiced this failed ideal in the past did not do it the right way.  We are told now that if we call this movement Democratic Socialism it will bring about a fair and just classless society that will prosper.  The same formula failed when it was called Menshevik Socialism, Bolshevik Socialism, National Socialism, or any other modifier placed before the failed formula of Socialism.

It cannot succeed for two reasons: the first is it promotes destruction that is contrary to human nature, and two, the arithmetic brings about negative numbers that prohibit growth, innovation, entrepreneurship, and prosperity.  Marx, for all his faults, understood the math and embraced the math stating that economic growth should never exceed the growth of the population because the excess would lead to innovation, growth, and prosperity which once again brings about an unfair, an unjust, and an unequal society.

An example of how this concentration on so called fairness and equality is in the short run and long run detrimental and destructive to the financial and social well being is the claim by the Women’s National Soccer Team that they should be paid the same as the men.  The Women have been more successful from a competitive standpoint than the men given the success of the Women in the World Cup competition.  Nevertheless, the women are advocating that the failed formula of Marx should apply; “from each according to their ability to each according to their need.”  Both Marx and the advocates for this socialist formula forget that 1 + 1 = 2 no matter what modifier we place in front of the formula.

This is what the numbers reveal for the Soccer association:

"From 2009 through 2019—a timeframe that includes two Women's World Cup championships—the Women's National Team has earned gross revenue of $101.3 million over 238 games, for an average of $425,446 per game and the Men's National Team has earned gross revenue of $185.7 million over 191 games, for an average of $972,147 per game. More specifically, WNT games have generated a net profit (ticket revenues minus event expenses) in only two years (2016 and 2017). Across the entire 11-year period, WNT games generated a net loss of $27.5 million."

What the Marx’s advocates are saying is that they deserve more even though by paying them more the loss would be even larger.  This is what the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party, and many in the Republican establishment like Ryan and McCarthy, have been claiming, the larger the deficit the more “socially just” and “fair” is society.

The problem with this is that history shows this to be a failed formula.  What this formula produces is more and more poverty, a lower and lower living standard for all but the politically elite, more and more crime, and less and less hope.  The formula is designed to destroy and not to build.  The Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) argument, as we heard last night, is to destroy and not to build.  Marx said the current society must be completely destroyed so this never to be achieved classless society that is “socially just’” “totally conforming,” and “totally equal” can be built.

THE PROPAGANDA PRINCIPLES THE MARXIST/PROGRESSIVES (DEMOCRATS) ARE EMPLOYING

Read Now

Collectivists (Marxists, communists, socialists, progressives, Democrats – all virtually the same) have never been convicted of their lack of truth telling throughout history.

Some of the more famous lies we have heard from collectivists:

The classless society will be a society that will live in unity and harmony.
We are for the people.
Taking from some to give to others will bring prosperity.
Food stamps have a multiplier effect.
You can keep your doctor if you like your doctor, you can keep your plan if you like your plan.
Anybody who would disagree with our policies is a racist and a demagogue.

These lies were and continue to be told to bring about a desired result and are a part of a bigger plan to bring about the desired result of all people, other than the political elites, living in total subservience, in a conforming and equal state, to the sovereign government.

This is what collectivists were told to do bring about this subservient society.

“It is not truth that matters, but victory.”
“The victor will never be asked if he told the truth.”
“I use emotion for the many and reserve reason for the few.”
“But the most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly and with unflagging attention. It must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over. Here, as so often in this world, persistence is the first and most important requirement for success.”
“If you wish the sympathy of the broad masses, you must tell them the crudest and most stupid things.”
“No amount of genius spent on the creation of propaganda will lead to success if a fundamental principle is not forever kept in mind. Propaganda must confine itself to very few points and repeat them endlessly. Here, as with so many things in this world, persistence is the first and foremost condition of success.”
“Only constant repetition will finally succeed in imprinting an idea on the memory of the crowd.”
“If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”
“The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one.”
“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.”
“Great liars are also great magicians.”

These are principles that have been employed by collectivists for decades, perhaps centuries, and they are being employed by the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party of today, specifically against President Trump.  All these quotes on how to have an effective propaganda campaign are quotes from one of the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) fellow collectivists, Adolf Hitler.

WE ARE IN A CIVIL WAR

Read Now

The United States fought a civil war over 150 years ago.  That civil war had at the heart of it, slavery.  The civil war we are in today also has at the heart of it, slavery.  The first civil war we fought was about the right of one individual to be owned or enslaved by another.  The current civil war is about the right of an individual to live their own lives and have their own thoughts as opposed to the government determining how everyone is to live their lives and what their thoughts are to be.

The United States was founded on the principle of individualism.  Individualism is a philosophy that adheres to the basics of the Declaration of Independence that stated we each have a natural right to life, liberty, and property, or as Jefferson said the pursuit of happiness.  These rights are endowed to us by the Creator; thus, the Creator is sovereign.  Under the philosophy of individualism, the role of government must be limited with the primary role of protector; protector of those natural rights so they are not infringed by government or others and protector of the population from enemies of the nation, both foreign and domestic.

The opposing force in this civil war is the philosophy of Collectivism (Marxism, communism, socialism, progressive, Democrats- all virtually the same).  This force believes that government is the supreme sovereign.  As supreme sovereign it becomes the role of government to run the lives of the people and dictate what their thoughts are to be.  This philosophy has always held that individualism is a selfish and greedy idea where people strive to exceed the limits the collectivist believes should be heeded.  The collectivist believes that the role of government is to insure total conformity and total equality within the society.  The collectivist has maintained a destructive mantra believing that all aspects of individualism must be destroyed including the critical unit of strong families where children’s belief systems reflect the beliefs of the parents and churches and not the schools.

It is these two forces that are clashing in the United States today.  President Trump is at the very heart of this war.  President Trump became the nominee of the individualist faction with assistance from the collectivist press.  They were sure he would lose to their very weak candidate, Hillary Clinton.  Something happened on the way to the Forum and the worst possible event happened to the collectivist movement; Donald Trump became president.

Donald Trump is not a politician and had not been schooled in the ways of what we individualists call the Washington Swamp where people adhere to the traditions that have become the swamp of speaking in politically correct terms and not revealing the corruption and collusion within the swamp.  The collectivist movement is becoming unhinged as more and more their corruption and collusion is being revealed by this outsider.  As collectivists always, do, they will do anything to protect what they believe to be their territory and their gains.

One of the main gains the collectivist has made is to bring about a huge welfare state that is at the heart of the evils of collectivism.  Welfare states are designed to destroy the family unit, allow children to be indoctrinated in the ways of collectivism in the schools. It brings about poverty which enslaves people to the government, it brings about conformity and equality of the people while allowing the government elite to become extremely wealthy, it destroys innovation and entrepreneurship of private individuals,  and it equates natural rights and entitlements to be the same.  This brings about the goal of the collectivist which is to collapse society by destroying the moral fabric and the financial stability of the society that was created by the individualist movement.

President Trump has exposed all that is taking place when he revealed the results of the collectivist movement in Baltimore and San Francisco., while exposing the hypocrisy and failures of Elijah Cummings and Nancy Pelosi.  This is the same result we see in Seattle, Los Angeles, Detroit, New York, Chicago, and all cities and areas that have been under collectivist government.  It is the only end that can occur.

The collectivist defense is the only defense they can muster; Trump is a racist.  In the language of the swamp, anybody who reveals the true results of the collectivist movement is a racist.  How else do you defend your actions when your intent is to bring about the destruction of the society.  Of course, you promise that what you will rebuild will be utopia, but you have nothing other than theory to support your claim.  Collectivism has always failed.   It does not matter what adjective you use to modify it.  It must fail because it is in opposition to the nature our Creator placed in us as individuals.

Regardless of your skin color, your sex, your religion, or your ethnicity, if you believe in the basis upon which our nation was founded, individualism, and oppose that philosophy that is advancing the civil war we are now facing, collectivism, you are a racist according to the language of the swamp.  President Trump understands this, but President Trump also understands that it is critical for the future of the United States as a free and independent people, we must stand against the EVIL and DESTRUCTIVE forces of collectivism.

PERHAPS NOW WE CAN DEAL WITH REAL PROBLEMS

Oh yes, Jerry Nadler, Adam, Schiff, and Elijah Cummings will continue to think they are relevant while wasting precious resources including time.  What these three have accomplished in a mere 18 months is to render what was intended to be the most influential branch of government, yes even more so than the Senate, the president, and the courts, is now the laughingstock of the American people.  All except the most ardent haters of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and the Bill of Rights, pay absolutely no attention to anything these three haters and highly partisan member of the swamp do or say.  Cummings especially continues his hypocritical tirades while his wife continues to thumb her nose at the laws of our land.

While these three, along with the squad continue with their damaging hatred of all that is freedom and liberty, the country continues to face three major problems that continue to threaten what was intended to be the King, Emperor, or Czar of the United States;  that is Rule of Law.

Congress continues to ignore the threat to our nation on our southern border.  Yes, it is a threat to our sovereignty.  Open borders have proven to be the Achilles heel for nations who are members of the European Union.  The requirement of the EU to allow any and all to come and go are bringing financial ruin and social chaos to many nations in Europe including Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, France, Germany, and more.  Those EU nations who recognize this crisis such as Poland, Hungary, Italy, and others are being demonized by the collectivist forces in the EU.  It is evident that this same crisis faces the United States and yet the collectivist forces within our country do not only ignore it but encourage it.  They openly call for open borders encouraging criminals and terrorists of all sorts to come and fulfil the goals of the collectivist; that is to fundamentally transform, per Comrade Obama, the United States into a Marxist totalitarian state.  Marx said for this to happen the current social order must be destroyed so the new collectivist social order could be built. The sad thing is, only congress can fix this threat to our freedom and liberty.

Congress continues to ignore the threat to our nation of an out of control spending problem.  Nadler, Schiff, Cummings, and the rest, including the Republican establishment continue to kick this can down the road.  The collectivist solution, one that has always failed, is to continue to take assets from the innovator and builder and transfer it to the taker.  This solution always brings about collapse, because economically it can only end in financial collapse.  When financial collapse occurs, social collapse follows.  The sad thing is, only congress can fix this treat to our freedom and liberty.

A crisis that is not addressed very often but is perhaps the biggest threat to our freedom and liberty is the abusive power grab of the judicial branch.  The intent of the founders was that the judicial branch of government would be the weakest branch of the three, and yet we were warned by many of the founders that the biggest threat for abuse of power and the breakdown of the rule of law, was the judicial branch.  The only power the constitution gives to the judicial branch is to render an opinion.  The judicial branch was given no legislative power and they were given no administrative power.  They are obligated to give opinions based on the laws as written, always adhering to the Constitution as the supreme law of the land.  Today we have federal district judges rendering rulings or opinions that are in direct opposition to the Constitution and the laws.  These judges are rendering their opinions based on their political viewpoints and what they call intent as opposed to adherence to law.  It is our judicial system that is destroying our King, Emperor, or Czar; that is Rule of Law.  The sad thing is, only congress can fix this threat to our freedom and liberty.

NOTHING NEW BUT MUCH CONFIRMED

Yes, I did watch the Mueller hearings.  No, I did not learn anything new. Yes, much was confirmed.

Before I sat down to watch the hearings I confirmed with myself that if the crimes that were alleged were committed, it would be a serious infringement on the United States Constitution and our accepted and legal practices of electing our executive and having a peaceful transfer of power.  Being convinced that our nation must protect both the legalities and traditions of our system of elections and transfer.

What I know is that I learned nothing new.  I also know that our legal requirements and traditions are under serious attack.  What we have witnessed is an unprecedented attempt to pervert our legal system and our traditions by a group of people who are trying to change the results of an election and trying to substantiate their efforts to overthrow that election.

If you watched the hearings, read the report, have followed the Mueller investigation, and have followed the happenings surrounding the 2016 election, if you have concerns about our system of elections and not the result of this particular election, and if you are willing to put aside partisan politics, you can only arrive at what was confirmed to me.

What we know is that the Russians once again were involved in our election as they have been in every presidential election since 1920 including the 1942 election where Stalin told the United States Communist Party to not run a candidate but to support the election of Franklin Roosevelt.

What we know is that many different agencies including the DOJ and FBI had been infiltrated with politicos more interested in determining outcomes than in performing their stated duties.

What we know is that Robert Mueller did not write the report attributed to him and it is very questionable as to how much input he had.

What we know is that Robert Mueller is and was a political hack and had a desire to confirm guilt on the charge that Trump colluded with the Russians.  Even with his prejudice and the prejudice of his staff, they could find no evidence of collusion or obstruction.

What we know is that it is time to move on from this investigation that has time after time been only a wish with no evidence.

What we know will happen, because it is already happening, is that people who did not watch the hearings, who did not read the report, who have done no substantial non-partisan research, will make prejudicial bumper sticker statements doing nothing but proving their prejudices and confirming they, along with Mueller and all the other political hacks involved in these dangerous occurrences, are the real danger to our freedom and liberties.

WE WERE WARNED - WILL WE HEED THE WARNINGS

We cheer when a clever person makes a more insulting statement about a Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) than that made by the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat).  The bumper sticker slogans and insults dominate the news and dominate social media.  Meanwhile our country becomes more and more divided and we continue down “The Road to Tyranny.”

Some wise person would say, “What is the answer.”  The answer my friend is always found in the same place and that is in history.  The future is told in history and the wise people of history have given us the answers.  What is happening today was predicted clearly and specifically.  Human nature has not changed.  Methods of communication and transportation have changed, but not human nature.  It is for this reason our founders said in order for the nation they founded to remain a nation free of despotism and tyranny these principles must not only remain but grow stronger; the government must be a limited government, the government must be a divided government, rule of law must prevail, the people must remain the sovereign, and individualism must prevail.

Benjamin Franklin

"I agree to this Constitution ... and I believe, further, that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic government, being incapable of any other." All of this went along with Franklin's basic philosophy of sound government; namely, that no people can remain free if they become wicked and immoral. When a society decays to the point where people begin to fear for their lives and their property, the demands for a police state have always been inevitable.

George Washington

"They (political parties) serve to organize factions ... to put in the place of the delegated will of the nation the will of a party, often a small but artful and enterprising minority.... "Let me ... warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party...." Almost prophetically he anticipated the encroachment of one branch of government over the others. He said: "It is important ... that ... those entrusted with its administration ... confine themselves within their respective constitutional spheres, avoiding in the exercise of the powers of one department any encroachment upon another.... The spirit of encroachment tends to consolidate the powers of all the departments in one, and thus to create ... a real despotism." Nothing aroused the wrath of Washington more than arrogant bureaucrats actually changing the fundamental structure of government by sheer despotic assertion of administrative power. He said: "If, in the opinion of the people, the distribution or modification of the constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates. But let there be no change by usurpations; for though this, in one instance, may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed."

Thomas Jefferson

"Our government is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit, by consolidation first, and then corruption.... The engine of consolidation will be the federal judiciary; the two other branches the corrupting and corrupted instruments." In other words, the Supreme Court uses its judicial mandates to draw more and more power to Washington; then the Congress and the Executive use this new power to shatter the Constitution and corrupt the dual federalism which was designed to balance the political powers between the government and the states. Once Jefferson's distant cousin, John Marshall, became chief justice of the Supreme Court, Marshall set himself and his associates up as the "final arbiter" on all constitutional issues. Nowhere in the Constitution was the federal judiciary given the power to enforce its will on the states or the other two federal departments. Jefferson had the Supreme Court in his gun sights when he wrote: "The great object of my fear is the federal judiciary. That body, like gravity, ever acting with noiseless foot and unalarming advance, gaining ground step by step and holding what it gains, is engulfing insidiously the [state] governments into the jaws of that [federal government] which feeds them."

James Madison

"If Congress can employ money indefinitely, for the general welfare, and are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare, they may take the care of religion into their own hands; they may appoint teachers in every state, county, and parish, and pay them out of the public treasury; they may take into their own hands the education of children, the establishing in like manner schools throughout the union; they may assume the provision of the poor.... Were the power of Congress to be established in the latitude contended for, it would subvert the very foundations, and transmute the very nature of the limited government established by the people of America."

Alex De Tocqueville

In 1830 a young judge from France arrived in America. His name was Alexis de Tocqueville. He came to study the American system. He and his friend soaked up more information about the great American experiment in ten months than most scholars absorb in a lifetime. Returning to France, Alexis de Tocqueville wrote a two-volume work entitled, Democracy in America. De Tocqueville saw the people of the United States passing through several distinct stages. First of all, he saw the strength of character and moral integrity that would make them prosperous. But as they became self-sufficient, he saw that they would be less concerned about each other and much less concerned about the principles that made them a great people. This would leave them vulnerable to the manipulation of clever politicians who would begin to promise them perpetual security if they accepted certain schemes contrived by some of their leaders. He then described what modern students have been led to identify as "democratic socialism.": "That power is absolute, minute, regular, provident, and mild. It would be like the authority of a parent, if, like that authority, its object was to prepare men for manhood; but it seeks on the contrary to keep them in perpetual childhood; it is well content that the people should rejoice, provided they think of nothing but rejoicing. "For their happiness such a government willingly labors, but it chooses to be the sole agent and the only arbiter of that happiness; it provides for their security, foresees and supplies their necessities, facilitates their pleasures, manages their principal concerns, directs their industry, regulates the descent of property, and subdivides their inheritances -- what remains, to spare them all the care of thinking and the trouble of living." "After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp, and fashioned them at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. "The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided -- men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till [the] nation is reduced to be nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd."

A wise person would ask how we avoid the pitfalls predicted and reverse our direction and start heading toward freedom and liberty again.  The answer is to heed the words of our founders and limit the power of our government, support every effort to avert the tyranny of the judicial branch and elect statesmen to office, remove from office all judges and elected officials who subvert the rule of law, take responsibility for our actions and once again become sovereign, and refute the lies of hope and change as proclaimed by Marxist/Progressives (Democrats and Republican establishment) and support only those who proclaim the ideology of freedom and independence, individualism.

As I have constantly stated, those who claim to be Freedom Loving Americans must educate themselves, that means get away from the bumper sticker and insult mentality, and start to study and learn why collectivism is evil and always fails, and individualism is the only ideology under which freedom flourishes.

You must educate yourself so you can become a member of the tireless minority that Sam Adams said is necessary to set brushfires of freedom in the minds of others.  Please join me.

WHEN YOU ARE SO RACIST YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND DIVERSITY

Read Now

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."  Martin Luther King, Jr.

This statement by Martin Luther King, Jr. is the ideal for which we should all strive, that we do not look at color of skin, we do not look at ethnicity, but we only look at character, and we ignore identity politics and only identify as individuals.  It is under this scenario that true diversity can build a great and a lasting nation that becomes stronger.  That diversity is diversity of thought, a nation where a winner of a beauty content is not punished because she does not support the demands to conform to the politically correct position of embracing Islam, the diversity of a great relief pitcher who when giving his speech after his induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame gives credit to and glory to his God and then is demonized because God does not fit into the politically correct scenario.

This is the diversity that creates a strong nation, a nation that encourages free and independent thought, thought that develops character, thought that challenges the norms of the day, thought that requires all people to examine their own stereotypes; this is the nation about which Martin Luther King, Jr. was dreaming.

The politically correct demands are those demands with which Martin Luther King, Jr would have strongly disagreed. They demand that if you disagree with somebody having a different skin color you are a racist, are dogmatic, restricting, regressive, because those demands require strict conformity.  This always limits a nation or a people and brings about the destruction of free societies.

It is the strict adherence to the requirements of diversity put forth in our founding documents that builds a strong nation because it states that individuals are free and they will be identified as an individual and judged by the content of their character and not based on their identity with a group.

It is individual diversification and not group conformity that builds strength in a nation.  This diversification respects the thoughts and ideas of all while looking at each as an individual and not as a part of a group defined by sex, race, ethnicity, religion, or any other politically correct group.

A racist demands conformity to the identity they expect of a member of a group and refuse to ignore that the person is an individual with their own individual thoughts, beliefs, ideas, or their own character.  A racist refuses to accept the dream of Martin Luther King, Jr. where all are judged by the content of their character and not by some proclaimed politically correct conformity.  Martin Luther King, Jr. was not a racist.  Those who criticized the beauty queen and relief pitcher are racists.

The United States Founding Documents declare we are a nation of individuals and not identity groups.

GREAT NEWS – SEN MERKLEY SAYS WE HAVE NO REAL PROBLEMS

Read Now

During the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) Weekly Address, Senator Jeff Merkley from Oregon stated that “We need all hands-on deck” to combat climate change, “the largest, scariest challenge humankind has ever faced.”

Merkley said, “As we take on this challenge, we can and will save our farming, forest, and fishing industries. We can and will restore American leadership in the world. We can and will improve the health of our urban and rural residents, and we can and will lift the fortunes of millions of American families by generating stable, good-paying jobs. We need all hands-on deck to meet this challenge, the largest, scariest challenge humankind has ever faced. But it is a challenge that we can and must rise to meet and create millions of good-paying jobs in doing so.”

WHAT GREAT NEWS THAT IS.

That is the same as saying the biggest problem the United States faces is what new design we should have on our postage stamp.  Once we have solved that earth-shattering crisis, we will have solved all problems that face mankind.  Yes, I know 100% of the scientists polled agree that climate change, (be it cooling, warming, or climate change neutral) is real.  I also know, having lived on earth for a few years and even in different sections of the country, weather (sorry, my mistake, that is supposed to be climate) changes.  I also have heard very renowned climatologists explain what a hoax the collectivists are presenting.

What so many propagandists have taught us throughout time, is that if you keep repeating a lie and exaggerate that lie over time, it becomes truth. We are seeing it used today by the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party.  Yes, we constantly hear that climate change is scientific, that Trump is a liar, a racist, and a demagogue, killing an unborn human is choice, children know if they were born one sex but identify with another, Islam is a peaceful religion, we are safest when our borders are open, and national debt is good..  Yet, when we asked for specific examples and not bumper stickers slogans, we get nothing.

What the Marxist/Progressives ignore, are real problems.  The degeneration of the moral fiber of America, the destruction of the family because of social welfare programs, open borders, our skyrocketing national debt, the refusal of Islam refugees to assimilate and refute their barbarous sharia law are just some of the real problems we face.

The Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) do not want to address the real problems because the real problems the United States faces are bringing about the very results they desire; the fundamental transformation of the United States from a free and independent people to a people living under a Dictatorship of the Proletariat per the collectivist doctrine as called for by Comrade Obama.

Sometimes we wish we could say that we were wrong and not say, “see, I told you so.”  I had this hit home once again.  I was guest on a radio broadcast with Beth Ann Schoenberg on CSC Talk Radio.  You can listen to her every morning by simply searching her on the web.

Beth Ann had me on her program to discuss Rights vs Entitlements, which is the subject of my new book, “Two Visions of America” to be in print by the end of August, I hope.  Beth Ann opened the phone lines and took a call from Joe.  Joe was very articulate.  I would also guess that Joe would have classified himself as a Freedom Loving American who believes in the principles of the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of the United States, and the Bill of Rights.

He ended his comment by stating he believes that in the United States it should be a right for everybody to own a small piece of property since property is a natural right per Locke, and Sam Adams.  (reference to Locke and Sam Adams added by me, not Joe) He explained that the government should give that land to the people.

What I have stated for many years is that socialism is moving forward in the United States, not because of the collectivist (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same) movement, but because those who claim to believe in the principles of our founding documents but do not understand what collectivism (Marxism, communism, socialism, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same) really is.

Our founding documents emphasize and state that the United States will be Republic adhering to rule of law, have a limited government, and have a divided government.  We are built on the principle that the people are sovereign with the government as the servant and that the philosophy of individualism will reign supreme.

It has always been the goal of the collectivist (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same) to conflate rights with entitlements.  When they have been successful accomplishing this, so people believe rights are granted and controlled by government and entitlements are also rights, they have moved us down “The Road to Tyranny.”  My contention is that they have done this, and that contention was confirmed by Joe.

What Joe stated is the very heart of collectivism (Marxism, communism, socialism, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same).  Collectivism is the belief that government is supreme in all and the individual is the serf, servant, or slave to the government.  The wishes and demands of the government are always supreme to those of the individual.  Karl Marx called for a classless society.  In this classless (communist) society all people would conform to the dictates of the state and all would be equal, socially, politically, and economically.  The government would determine how people were to live their lives and what their thoughts were to be.  The role of the individual would be to conform.

In an individualist society each person would determine how they wanted to live their lives and what their thoughts would be.  This is the promise of our founding Documents.  If an individual determined they wanted to own their own property, they had the right to pursue that desire, but it would be a decision made by the individual and not determined by the government.

What Joe, and so many Americans do not understand, is that when we allow the government to make the determination for everyone in one area, we are greasing the slippery slope for all areas.  Today the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party is telling us it is a right to have health care and they will determine the extent and coverage, that all people should be provided free college, that all people should have a government determined minimum income, and that all people should be punished for achieving,.

In addition, the government is telling us that our right to worship God freely must conform to what the government determines is freely, that our right to speak with no infringements will be allowed so long as we do not speak hatefully as they determine hatefully, or speak in a manner that would cause discomfort, as they define discomfort, to another.  The government has also told us that certain classes of people do not have a right to life because their life would be an inconvenience to another.  What is taking place as a part of the transformation Marx predicted for the United States is the conflation of rights and entitlements.

I feel comfortable in stating that the proposal of Joe to have the government ensure that every American have their own piece of property comes from what he believes to be a benevolent position.  It is this position I fear the most.  That is good people proposing what they believe to be good ideas, when in fact they are greatly advancing the collectivist (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same) movement.  I contend this happens because they do not understand the collectivist (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same) philosophy and goals.

In order for us to remain a free and independent people it is paramount that we never conflate rights and entitlements, that we the people are the sovereign and the government is the servant, that we have a limited and divided government, that we adhere to rule of law, and that individualism reigns supreme.  Each individual has been given natural rights by their Creator, among them life, liberty, and property, and the only role government is to play is to protect these rights. Government is to never control or infringe them in any way.

Each time, even for benevolent purposes, we bend these principles, we are paving “The Road to Tyranny.”
