That Obama and Holder are collectivists (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same) is beyond question. They are. Comrade Obama was schooled by documented communist, Frank Marshall Davis and his communist grandfather. He went on to become the prized student of the Saul Alinsky School for Community Organizers and continued to practice the disruption taught in the school during his political career. Holder was his Tonto, his Sundance, or in today’s world his Bonnie.
Disruption of a civil society is a critical element of the collectivist movement in their strategy of destroying a society so they can rebuild their totalitarian Marxist state under the control of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. In a free society, the kind of society Comrade Obama told us he would fundamentally transform, it is critical that the population respect the authority of law enforcement. If it is your goal to destroy the society, you will, as Comrades Obama and Holder did, encourage disrespect that will become an outright revolt against law enforcement.
We are now witnessing this revolt against law enforcement by an organization sanctioned by Comrades Obama and Holder, Black Lives Matter, and an organization supported by and encouraged by the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) Party; ANTIFA. However, the revolt has spread into the inner-city communities as they are being told all law enforcement is racist and thus is their enemy. This is a tactic Comrade Obama learned from the Alinsky school and one he has put to work many times.
We have witnessed the results of this legacy of Comrades Obama and Holder on an ever increasing and unabashedly manner within the last couple of weeks when hoodlums and thugs poured water on law enforcement officers in New York. These hoodlums and thugs became even more obtuse in their behavior when they obstructed police in Philadelphia who were confronting a long-time criminal who was attacking them with deadly force.
A reporter at the scene of an attack on police officers said that bystanders were mocking and taunting police even as bullets rained down upon them. A video shows a crowd of residents shoving and confronting the police even as they were dealing with a tense hostage situation. It was circulated online among many supporters of law enforcement who expressed outrage at their treatment. Even as six police officers were being treated for injuries by a man barricaded inside a home, the neighborhood residents expressed hostility and antagonism against the police.
"I mentioned this at 10 and since I was harassed during that live shot, I'll mention it here too," Hoff tweeted. "A major moment of disappointment this evening was watching a crowd of people taunt police officers, laughing and yelling at them in the midst of the gunfire," she added.
One officer was shot in the head, while another was shot in the hand. All injured officers have been released from the hospital. There were reports that the suspect was broadcasting part of the attack on Facebook. Two police officers were trapped inside the home as he fired on the officers outside, and they were saved by the SWAT team along with two other hostages.
Any who would support the actions of these misguided people are as responsible as are they for perpetuating the legacy of Comrades Obama and Holder in an outright revolt on law enforcement to bring about the breakdown of our society. Elizabeth Warren also has blood on her hands as she openly denies the facts of the Michael Brown saga when this young thug, and yes the facts show he was a thug, was killed in self defense by a police officer as thug Brown was attacking him.
A free society that values and demands liberty can only exist where the citizens voluntarily respect the life, liberty, and property of their fellow citizens and at the same time show support and respect for law enforcement. Any who advocate for the policies put forth by Comrades Obama and Holder; that of total disrespect and outright revolt against law enforcement, are as guilty as are they for the breakdown in our civil society.
The facts, and yes Joe Biden this is also the truth, are that when a free society disrespects and revolts against their law enforcement, the result is a national police force that becomes a police force under the control of a totalitarian despot as we saw happen in Russia, later to be the Soviet Union, members of the Soviet Bloc, Mao’s China, Castro’s Cuba, and Venezuela. This is the desired ends to the means begun by Comrades Obama and Holder. If you support or participate in any way with this disrespect and revolt, you are a part of the destruction of our free civil society.
In fact, the #1 enemy of liberty could be you. Anyone who supports and or votes for a Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) is a sworn enemy of liberty. Liberty is the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior, or political views.
Liberty, along with life, and property or the pursuit of happiness are the stated freedoms given by the Creator and not government. This is the basic principle upon which the Untied States was founded and was the reason the Revolutionary War was declared and fought. The British government was dictating to the colonists what their liberties would be and had assumed the role of the grantor and thus the controller of these freedoms. The American colonists declared the British government an enemy of the people or an enemy of liberty.
The Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party of today has assumed the role of the British government of the latter half of the 18th century. They, like the British government, have asserted themselves to be the grantor and thus controller of our Natural Rights of life, liberty, and property or pursuit of happiness. The Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party has also declared our founding documents to be living documents so the principles within our founding documents can be rendered to be null and void. The Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party must do this because the principles of life, liberty, and property or pursuit of happiness as granted by the Creator are in opposition to the goals of the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party of fundamentally transforming the United States into a collectivist (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same) nation.
A collectivist nation as desired by the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) can only exist when all people conform to the same ideology. A nation that adheres to the principles of our founding documents can only exist when non-conformity, or a population with widely different viewpoints, exists. Liberty is at the heart of a free and independent people while it is the enemy of the collectivist.
Liberty includes having the freedom to think and voice different ideas, including what the collectivist would deem to be a radical view. The collectivist has been taught to combat these differing ideas by first ridiculing, then demonizing, then ostracizing, and then eliminating any who would disagree with their dictates. In the United States today, the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) have placed us in the ostracizing to eliminating stage. Any who do not agree with them are racists, homophobes, Islamaphoebes, and all the other terms used to demonize. They have also presented the ideas of punishing those who, according to them, use hate speech. This is entering the elimination stage.
The Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) have turned our public schools into centers of indoctrination. Again, indoctrination is teaching what to think and not how to think. Throughout our country, but with California taking the lead, our students are not asked to research and develop ideas on situations such as capitalism vs socialism, the teachings of the Bible vs socialism, the Jewish people being the oppressed or being the oppressor, what is choice and what is murder, and we could continue. What is the solution is defined by the curriculum and the student is told to believe it and prove it or they will fail the class.
The Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) have told us that anybody who has exercised their liberty to excel and become financially successful is selfish and greedy and has done so at the expense of others, just as Karl Marx stated. This is an incorrect position in that in a capitalist society wealth and success are infinite with all having the freedom to achieve. It is in a socialist society where one gains at the expense of another because the very essence of socialism is that wealth is finite.
If you support the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party, you are an enemy of liberty and thus an enemy of the United States; the United States that was founded on the principle of liberty for all. If a member of your family, a neighbor of yours, a friend of yours, or an acquaintance of yours supports the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party, they are an enemy of the United States; the United States that was founded on the principle of liberty for all.
When you listen to the current group of imposters, those Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) who are aspiring to be the President of the United States, they are exposing their plans to destroy the United States; the United States that was founded on the principle of liberty for all.
The real enemy of liberty is entrenched within our national borders, our states, our counties, our communities, our neighborhoods, and yes perhaps even our homes. Understand this enemy. An enemy cannot be defeated by appeasement or by ignoring. An enemy, such as this, can only be defeated by understanding the core of its evil, and then by setting brushfires of liberty in the minds and hearts of that enemy and their useful idiots.
It seems like the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) are trying to see who can be even more stupid and outlandish than Mica and Joe, Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo, Maxine Waters, Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Bill De Blasio, and of course Joe Biden and on and on. The competition is fierce as these people exhibit their outlandish divineness while denouncing all they are promoting with their ridiculousness.
But believe it or not, we have now even more contestants for the top award of divisive and stupid remarks.
On a recent broadcast of CNN’s (or course) “Situation Room,” Denny Heck, a Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) from Washington reacted to the Trump administration’s new immigration rule by stating that “the president hates all immigrants, except his mother- and father-in-law and his wife, evidently.”
Heck said, “Look, the president hates all immigrants, except his mother- and father-in-law and his wife, evidently. He hates them whether they’re here without documents, they’re here with a green card, they’re here seeking asylum. He hates them all.”
Then on MSNBC’s “MTP Daily,” network political analyst Zerlina Maxwell declared those who support President Donald Trump “caging brown babies” were “supporting racist policies.”
When asked if there is a distinction between Trump’s “clearly racist language” and his supporters, Maxwell said, “Well, they need to speak truth to power, and I do not see a distinction. If you are supporting a president that is caging brown babies and you are okay with that, then I’m sorry, that is supporting racist policies, and that is not distinct from supporting a racist president. I think that often we try to get into this semantic game because people take the label of racist so personally as if I’m saying that you’re a terrible human and that you’re evil.”
What this “brilliant” scholar forgets to say is that Obama started the policy, so logically, (I understand that is a word that cannot be used with statements made by Marxist/Progressives (Democrats)), Obama and all his supporters are racist. That means perhaps over 90% of Americans are racist.
As ridiculous, illogical, and stupid as these statements are, they do not win the top weekly award for stupid. That would again go to Joe, the tongue, Biden when he explained that facts should never get in the way of truth. As stupid as this is, that is the reality of the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats).
Saul Alinsky is alive and well and on the debate stage. We have still not seen the real candidate “stand-up” yet, but have just witnessed imposters. The imposter who seems to have garnered the most votes from the American hating crowd that adheres to the collectivist (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same) crowd, Joe the tongue Biden, has never been a clear thinker but has now gone senile. The other imposters continue to quote Marx and Alinsky, advocating their ideals, but with constant contradictions trying to gain support such as Kamala Harris who is not sure what day of the week it is, or Elizabeth Warren who still claims to be Indian despite the facts, but they never let facts get in the way of "truth," or Corey Booker who aspires to be the gladiator who becomes emperor. Imposters all.
So, let us look at the real candidate, Saul Alinsky, and his clear position. The difference between the real candidate and the imposters is that the real candidate is consistent in his ends of achieving a communist state and that to arrive at the ideal of total government control the ends always justify the means. He does not equivocate with double talk like we hear on the debate stage from the imposters.
Saul Alinsky says:
The Prince was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. Rules for Radicals is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away. In this book we are concerned with how to create mass organizations to seize power and give it to the people; to realize the democratic dream of equality, justice, peace, cooperation, equal and full opportunities for education, full and useful employment, health, and the creation of those circumstances in which man can have the chance to live by values that give meaning to life.
Control healthcare and you control the people
A Marxist begins with his prime truth that all evils are caused by the exploitation of the proletariat by the capitalists. From this he logically proceeds to the revolution to end capitalism, then into the third stage of reorganization into a new social order of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and finally the last stage -- the political paradise of communism.
If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.
The first step in community organization is community disorganization. The disruption of the present organization is the first step toward community organization. Present arrangements must be disorganized if they are to be displace by new patterns.... All change means disorganization of the old and organization of the new.
The most effective means are whatever will achieve the desired results.
AND THE MAXIM BY WHICH THE MARXIST/PROGRESSIVE (DEMOCRAT) OPERATES IS PER SAUL ALINSKY:
An organizer working in and for an open society is in an ideological dilemma to begin with, he does not have a fixed truth - truth to him is relative and changing; everything to him is relative and changing.... To the extent that he is free from the shackles of dogma, he can respond to the realities of the widely different situations.
AOC, sometimes it might be healthiest for you if you took the same stance that Sargent Schultz took, “I know nothing.”
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez demanded answers Saturday after disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in a Manhattan jail cell from suspected suicide. This was obviously a knee jerk reaction by a young girl who has not paid any attention to recent history.
Jim and Susan McDougal learned that silence is always the best road to choose when people ask you questions about any dealings with the Clinton’s. Jim of course learned that doctors and doctors’ assistants do not respond to certain medical conditions in prison, especially if you were in prison because of illegal activities in connection with the Clintons. People were curious why nobody would go to the aid of Jim. They learned, I guess, that curiosity killed the cat.
AOC seems to have never known who Vince Foster was. Questions were never answered in this investigation like did Vince Foster shoot himself in the White House and then drive himself to the park and walk into the park. People who wanted answers to the killing of Vince Foster somehow quickly decided whatever story was told was fine with them. They learned, I guess, that curiosity killed the cat.
Seth Rich, you must remember him AOC, was murdered by a robber late one night in Washington DC, but the robber seemed not to be interested in the watch or the wallet Seth Rich had. Nobody seems to know what the robber took, but what is known is that Seth Rich is dead, and nobody still knows how WikiLeaks attained all those emails. Many people wanted to learn why the robber did not rob Seth Rich, but the Washington DC police quickly said the investigation was over. Even the parents of Seth Rich said to let their son lie in peace. They learned, I guess, that curiosity killed the cat.
Even though Hillary broke the law by using a private email, her own server, and transmitted highly secretive government information that was classified, even though Hillary was not sure what the “C” meant, and destroyed evidence, both before and after a subpoena, people quickly said Hillary did not intend to do these things so the investigation should end. Those who said perhaps we should learn more did learn that curiosity killed the cat.
You must understand, AOC, that there are certain questions you ask and certain questions you do not ask. For instance, never ask for protection in Benghazi when illegal weapons are being trafficked through the consulate. Chris Stevens did. Never ask or have information about who really conspired with foreign countries to produce false information in an effort to win an election. Seth Rich did.
You must understand AOC, that curiosity has killed, and it has not always been the cat that was killed.
,Saul Alinsky is alive and well and controlling the progressive movement as they fall in lock step with his dictates.
How to create a social state by Saul Alinsky:
There are 8 levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state.
The first is the most important.
1) Healthcare — Control healthcare and you control the people
2) Poverty — Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
3) Debt — Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control — Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.
5) Welfare — Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).
6) Education — Take control of what people read and listen to — take control of what children learn in school.
7) Religion — Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.
8) Class Warfare — Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.
And the useful idiots fall right in line. Are you a Marxist helping to create the social state or you an useful idiot enabling the the creation of the social state. Regardless, the social state always ends in financial and social collapse.
Are you against the creation of the social state openly proclaimed by the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats)? If so, you must understand what the social state is and then join the few of us who are defining its evil and openly opposing this evil by setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men just as Sam Adams did.
What is abundantly clear is that civics and government, for that matter even civility, is no longer taught in our public schools and many of those to whom it might have been taught years ago have forgotten the lessons.
First, the United States was not a democracy at its beginning, was never intended to be a democracy, and was specifically and purposefully formed to be a republic. The reason for this choice was because those who designed our country understood, from history, that democracies quickly become autocratic, and they wanted to protect the Natural Rights for all specifically protecting them for the minority from the tyranny of the majority.
The legislative branch of government was designed to be the most powerful branch of government, not an equal branch of government, because it was the closest to the people. All laws must originate in the legislative branch and the legislative branch had the “power of the purse.” However, even the legislative branch was restricted stating the only legislative authority it was supposed to have was in regard to the specific powers we the people enumerated as the powers of the federal government in the United States Constitution. Any power not enumerated was off limits to even the legislative branch.
The Natural Rights, not just those outlined in the founding documents, were rights given to the individual by the Creator, God, and government had no control over them in any form or fashion. The responsibility of government was to protect those rights for the people. The founders were of the generation that let their yes be yes and their no be no, so when they stated that the government was to pass no law establishing a religion or the practice of religion it meant “no” law.
When we are told government cannot abridge speech, it meant that government cannot limit what people say or what they think. Yes, even stupidity can be expressed freely as we hear so often. Stupidity that runs rampant on television and social media is protected. So, when Mika and Joe express their foolish and unfounded accusations, their opinions are protected even one as simple minded as when Mika Brzezinski stated, “You have to ask the question, Joe, and I’ll ask you. Isn’t it OK to deduce that at this point this is what he wants? He is inciting hatred, inciting violence, inciting racism. If he doesn’t unequivocally call it off and say, this is wrong and we stand together against this and we are doing this, this and this to help fight hate crimes — I mean, this is a president who seems to want these things to happen. How else can this be explained if he doesn’t call it off?”
The founders understood that the risk of restricting speech, even speech like the above by Mika, must be not only tolerated but protected because the slippery slope of abridging is steep. It is in democracies that become autocratic where the majority determines certain speech is hate speech and possibly hurts the feelings of some so it must be abridged. Hate speech quickly becomes any speech that does not promote the political agenda of the then most vocal.
Any civics or government class teaching our founding, assuming it is based on accurate history, will teach that our founders understood that government, although necessary, must be limited and controlled. “Our founders understood when creating our government, that government, any government, is the single biggest threat to the freedoms they had just won.” Don Jans
These lessons have been forgotten or where never taught and learned. History teaches us that either we adhere to these principles if we wish to remain free and keep our liberties, or we acquiesce to the simple knee jerk reactions called for by ambitious politicians of today and get on the sled perched at the top of the slippery slope that quickly takes us to the land of an autocratic and tyrannical government that says no law means any law and abridge can mean anything we want it to mean.
There have been times of anguish and contention throughout our history. We have the advantage of learning from those who have navigated through difficult times and have passed on to us the wisdom they gained. Yet, we tend to ignore that wisdom and believe we have greater insight than do those who were successful, and so we struggle. It is time we; the American people listen to the wise and not the politically ambitious who would use the sufferings of others for their own gain.
Our generation more than any other in American history has determined that our role as parents, if we even exercise that role by being present in our children’s lives, is to give them toys and gadgets to show our neighbors just how successful we are as opposed to determining if the toys and gadgets are important in the development of the child to be a responsible individual with a strong character. Wiser people have told us our true responsibility is to give our children our time and direction, teaching them solid principles and not abdicating that responsibility to the schools or government.
It is the duty of parents to maintain their children decently, and according to their circumstances; to protect them according to the dictates of prudence; and to educate them according to the suggestions of a judicious and zealous regard for their usefulness, their respectability and happiness. James Wilson
We were instructed to be aware of the character of those we elect to represent us. The type of individual we choose to represent us reflects the character of the electorate, therefore always choose those who will put duty above self, who understand to profit from their position is immoral and is the result of weak character, and that to mislead or misrepresent for the purpose of gain is reprehensible.
If men of wisdom and knowledge, of moderation and temperance, of patience, fortitude and perseverance, of sobriety and true republican simplicity of manners, of zeal for the honour of the Supreme Being and the welfare of the commonwealth; if men possessed of these other excellent qualities are chosen to fill the seats of government, we may expect that our affairs will rest on a solid and permanent foundation. Samuel Adam
In selecting men for office, let principle be your guide. Regard not the particular sect or denomination of the candidate — look to his character.... Noah Webster
It is certainly true that a popular government cannot flourish without virtue in the people. Richard Henry Lee
We were warned that liberty, although secured now, can just as quickly be taken from us. If we fail to heed the directions to always be vigilant in our own conduct as well as electing those who exhibit that same sense of duty to virtuous service and not self-serving or opportunistic service, our liberty could prevail.
Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall, when the wise are banished from the public councils, because they dare to be honest, and the profligate are rewarded, because they flatter the people, in order to betray them. Joseph Story
The American war is over; but this far from being the case with the American revolution. On the contrary, nothing but the first act of the drama is closed. It remains yet to establish and perfect our new forms of government, and to prepare the principles, morals, and manners of our citizens for these forms of government after they are established and brought to perfection. Benjamin Rush
For liberty to prevail, we must heed the advice of those who won our liberty. We must turn our back on those who show weak character by making false promises, false claims, claiming simple solutions to complex problems – solutions that abridge our liberties as opposed to enhancing our liberties, and demonize others simply because they disagree with their political position. These are the strategies of demagogues who have as their goal to deceive the masses for their own glory, power, and wealth. To understand who these deceivers are, take note of those who, even before knowing facts or circumstances, profess simple solutions for notoriety and political gain, and demonize their political opponents for the same purposes.
The blood is still is still present, the families are still in shock, and the perpetrator's motives are unknown, but the politician has the answer for the tragedy, and that answer is to quickly enact an action that supports his road to election. In today's instant news and bumper sticker mentality, the ambitious politician understands that it is not the substance of their response but how quickly it is made and how outlandish it is that will get them the headlines they desire.
The ambitious politician and irresponsible news outlets and pundits understand that instant responses, regardless of content or validity, will help them achieve their ultimate goal; name recognition. Consequently, meaningless bumper sticker comments are spread to the masses who form an instant opinion and move on with their lives, filing their reaction in their minds for later use and disregarding whether or not the opinion has any validity.
When, in days or weeks, facts are revealed that completely disparage the bumper sticker comments, the ambitious politician and aspiring news outlet and pundit will either issue a short, never to be heard retraction, or will completely ignore their ignorant initial statement. This is our political and news outlet landscape of today.
Both the ambitious politician and aspiring news outlets and pundits know the short memories of the public. They understand that after the facts have been revealed, the public has moved on and consequently they can avoid what should be their goal; getting to the root cause of the problem and not the immediate reaction that brings the headlines.
Ambitious politicians and aspiring and irresponsible news outlets and pundits have always been a part of any society. What we must quickly learn is that ambitious politicians and irresponsible news outlets and pundits are not the root cause of the ills of society, but they are perpetuators of all that is evil. The root cause of evil always lies with the masses, people who turn their heads and say what is, always was, and always will be. This is false. What history teaches us is that a society where the masses or people take a sincere interest, they read, they study, they learn, they become involved; these people can change the evil core growing within their midst.
If just one individual will take a sincere interest in the fallacies being sung by the ambitious politician and irresponsible news outlets and pundits, and that individual makes the effort to discuss, not argue or debate, with their family, friends, and acquaintances, seeds will be planted of the necessity of more people to take a sincere interest. Remember, questions that cause the other person to think, wonder, and hopefully do some research are far more valuable than dogmatic statements.
We the people, can never shirk our responsibility that is critical if we are to remain a free people with our government protecting our liberties and rights and not controlling and eliminating those liberties and rights. We must remember that politicians and news sources reflect the electorate and people. When we abdicate our responsibility of being concerned citizens and accept the bumper sticker and immediate responses by the ambitious politician and irresponsible aspiring news outlets and pundits, we have abdicated our right to liberty and rights and have acquiesced to be servants and slaves to the ambitions of that politician.
The country we have, the liberties we have, the evil that does or does not exist within a society is always determined by the people. History proves that an informed, involved, and knowledgeable people will have a more peaceful and harmonious society than does an uninformed, uninvolved, and unaware society. Yes, once again the choice is ours.
Within our society there is greater and greater unrest. This unrest has been escalating for many years. Those who have promoted the unrest claim that the ability of a citizen to own a gun is at the heart of this unrest. However, what we know is that societies have existed where gun ownership is allowed and, in some cases, encouraged and societies have existed where gun ownership was denied. In both situations violence and irrational attacks have taken place. Guns was not the constant. What the constant was, was people.
Those of you who have read my writings, my books, and perhaps have heard me speak, know that I am a believer in history. I have studied history. As a side note, my eldest granddaughter is learning to enjoy history. She became interested in the life of Mary Queen of Scots, (yes Papa had something to do with it) and has learned that history is just a novel, only dealing with real people and happenings. The interactions between individuals, families, small groups, and large groups or national societies , and hundreds and thousands of years ago is the same as that of today. Of course, today we are able to get news much quicker and we are able to be in different parts of the world much quicker, but people have not changed. The lesson is that we can learn the future by studying history.
Let’s narrow this study to the last 250 years and confine it to the society we call the United States. We must begin with the founding of the United States and understand, through the objective study of history, that the events that led to the independence of the American Colonists and then their insight in forming a new nation was truly unique. The United States was the first nation founded on the principles of Natural Rights and Natural Law. These principles put government in the third position with the Creator as number one and the people as number two on the sovereignty scale. In previous situations the role of government and the people had been reversed and often government was even placed as number one on the sovereignty scale.
What the United States idea really meant in everyday life was that people had liberties that were free from government control. People were now not only free to, but they were encouraged to, strive to reach the limits of their abilities and then to stretch those limits. Thomas Jefferson most profoundly stated this idea when he added “pursuit of happiness” to the other Natural Rights enunciated of life, and liberty. People were no longer restricted to the limits of government or the collective who prior to the United States had placed limits on individuals on criteria such as position at birth (for instance nobility or commoner), conformity to the ideas and dictates of the government or collective, and special likes or dislikes of the government official (both socially and romantically).
This unique concept, placing government in the number three position of sovereignty, meant that the people who believed society was best when government officials or the elite where in control of the lives and thoughts of the people vehemently disagreed with this concept. This is not new to history but this type of a transformation of societies has occurred before. Remember, history teaches us that political positions and ideas within any society are never stagnant, but are always being challenged and changed. The elite forces, those of the two extremes of liberty and tyranny have remained constant but the masses have swung from side to side, and often quickly and radically. An excellent example of how quickly the masses can change is the change in the attitude of the masses towards Jesus. On Sunday they cheered Jesus and hailed him as their King. By Thursday evening and Friday morning they were calling for his death. Those who hated and despised Jesus because he challenged them, remained the same. Jesus did not change. It was the masses that changed.
Those who despise individual freedom, freedom from the dictates of the government and collective, have been prevalent within the United States from before the Revolutionary War. They were referred to then as loyalists or Tories. These collectivists of today (Marxist, communists, socialists, progressives, Democrats – all virtually the same) continue to demand that individual freedoms be limited, and often eliminated, by government or the collective. George Soros said it this way, “An open society is a society which allows its members the greatest possible degree of freedom in pursuing their interests compatible with the interests of others.”
This is what has changed in the United States. This collectivist idea as stated by George Soros and put forth by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in the middle to late 19th century is openly being proclaimed in the United States today. This is a philosophy in direct contrast to our founding. This philosophy of Soros, Marx, and Engels calls for the destruction of a society that is built on individual freedom and expression so their desired society of control of the individual over their life and thoughts can be accomplished. A study of how they propose to do this is a study of history in how it has been attempted throughout the ages.
All who believe in government or collective control, view the family unit as a threat to their goals. The reason is simple. A society built with strong families as their base is a diverse society with people who have respect for others and others property. The collective insists on total conformity of thought and expression by all and insists that property is to not be regarded as the property of the individual but the property of the government or the collective.
Marx said that to accomplish this transition to this collectivist society, all long-standing principles, all morality, and all religion must be abolished. The principles of our nation when founded must be declared to be antiquated and no longer workable, morality must be judged not on right or wrong as Locke said it should be in his theory of Natural Law, but on whether or not the action moves us down the road to communism or not as stated by Lenin, and the new society must be an atheist society which is in direct contrast of the beliefs upon which our nation was founded.
This collective extreme is not new. It has existed for ages. What has changed in the United States is that the masses are changing. More and more of the masses are believing that the family unit is outdated, that our founding principles are antiquated, that morality is strictly individual, and that the Creator is simply fiction.
Our society has always had guns. That is constant. What has changed is the masses and their indoctrination in the beliefs set forth by the collectivists (Marxist, communists, socialists, progressives, Democrats – all virtually the same) that the rights of the individual must always be secondary to the dictates of the government or the collective. Societies that have transitioned to this philosophy have always become violent. Yes, what has changed is not the ownership of guns, but what has changed is the acceptance and encouragement of violence to bring about a fundamental transformation of our society from a society with God as the sovereign, then man, and then government as opposed to government as the sovereign, then man, and God is completely eliminated, per Marx. A major part of this transformation is the destruction of the family unit.
We who believe in the principles upon which our nation was founded, those principles which made our nation “that shining city on the hill” must understand that history teaches us that movements can be changed and reversed. Sam Adams understood this concept as the masses ebbed and flowed in the 1760’s and 1770’s. He said then and it is just as applicable or perhaps even more applicable now on how to move the masses toward liberty, “It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.”
Will you become a part of this irate, tireless minority??
