The hatred and ridiculous claims made by pundits and reporters are only reflective of the importance of this election. Interestingly, the hatred is for just the one candidate and that is the hatred of the left for President Trump. There is little to no hatred for Biden, just empathy for his obvious signs of dementia, pity for his incompetence over the years, and disgust for his irrefutable tendencies of inappropriate behavior for females of all ages.
The import of this election really has nothing to do with Biden and everything to do with President Trump. The left of America, represented by the Democrat party, has for more than a century been trying to transform the United States. The left has despised the founding principles of the United States because those principles are based on the concept of individualism. The Democrat party has become more and more an adherent to the enslaving principles of collectivism. The United States was founded on the principles of limited government and the Democrat party believes bigger and more controlling government is the better it is. The United States was founded as a Republic where government does not have authority over the natural rights and liberties given to each individual by God. The Democrat party believes that all rights and liberties come from government and must be limited and if granted, they should be granted very sparingly and never permanently. The United States was also founded as a Republic. A Republic recognizes and protects the rights of the minority and even the rights of the individual. In a Republic, a right or liberty extended to one must be extended to all. The majority can not limit the rights of the minority even when it would benefit the interests of the majority. The collectivist society can only exist under a dictatorship, and democracy by definition and practice is a dictatorship; that is a dictatorship of the majority over the minority that in practice quickly become a dictatorship of the few over the many. This movement of bigger and bigger government and more and more controlling government or democracy, was given a major boost under Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, and Barack Obama. The movement of bigger government suffered challenges under only the Coolidge and Reagan administrations. That is until the Trump administration. The goal of a collectivist (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat, - all virtually the same) is to have government control every economic and social aspect of a society. A collectivist does not recognize a person as an individual but only as a part of a group. Barack Obama promised the American people that he was about to fundamentally transform the United States of America. And transform it he did. Obama took the framework given to him by his predecessors over the last century, all but Coolidge and Reagan, and built a sold collectivist bureaucracy. The collectivist esteems to have government truly run by the professional bureaucrats and not the elected officials. Obama had changed much of government such as the DOJ, FBI, State Department, CIA, NSA, and even much of the DOD to be agencies whose loyalty was with the collectivist movement and not the good of the American people. President Trump is not a part of the collectivist movement that has become Washington D.C. and understands that this movement to transform the United States is a movement that forsakes the great principles upon which the United States was founded and upon which the United States thrived. President Trump campaigned on and won on the ideas of individualism over collectivism, republic over democracy, and nationalism over globalism. President Trump not only disagrees with the transformers, but he exposed their intentions and began the process of reversing the progress they had made, especially in the DOJ, FBI, NSA, and State Department. If President Trump had adhered to the demands of the collectivist movement, he would be on his way to a easy victory in November. He would not be viewed as the threat he is to this movement of bigger and more controlling government. Because President Trump believes in limited government, he is hated by the collectivist and this is what has made this election so critical. What hinges on this election is do we continue the reversal of the transformation or do we continue the fundamental transformation promised by and implemented by Obama. In reality, every American must ask the question, “do I want to live as a free person or as a slave to government.” If you choose free person, you will vote for President Trump and any that support him. If you choose slave, you will vote for Biden and all others that have a (D) behind their names. The consequences are immense.
