CENSORSHIP

Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication, or other information, on the basis that such material is considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or "inconvenient."
 
Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech is a part of the First Amendment.

Free speech, that means no censorship, is an essential liberty for a free society. When a government, organization, or individual takes upon themselves to determine what would be harmful for the public to hear or read, they are in fact controlling the minds and thoughts of the people. A free society cannot exist when censorship of any kind prevails. Inherent to freedom is the right to have available all information and then for the citizen to discern what information should be used as a basis for their decision. The most critical information that must be available is that information that makes known the possible evil of government.

Control of the public, which is the goal of collectivists (Marxists, communists, socialists, progressives, Democrats – all virtually the same) is dependent on censorship. For collectivism to be implemented, or tyranny of any kind to be implemented, it is necessary for the public to have available to them only the information that will assist the aspiring tyrant. This is accomplished in two ways. One way is by eliminating any information that would be detrimental to the cause. The other way would be to plant false information that promotes the views of the aspiring tyrant and then censor any information that would prove it is false.
 
This is what has taken place over the last couple of weeks and over the last couple of years. The MSM has censored or limited availability to the public that indicates Joe Biden knew about his son’s business and actually participated in running it. The other example would be the MSM assisting in  limiting information that would prove that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians, and that he tried to blackmail the Ukrainians.
 
The very reason the founder’s found it necessary to protect free speech in the first amendment, would be because of what we are seeing taking place in our nation today. All censorship must be removed so citizens have full and complete access to information and can make their own determination.
