Nancy Pelosi was asked in what the Democrats believe.
“There are a lot of people out there, particularly Democrats, who are saying the Democrats have no message, the Democrats they don’t know what they’re for, they know they’re against President Trump, but they don’t know what they’re for,” said the interviewer Harsh, but ultimately true. Aside from the overarching disdain for Trump, there seems to be little else keeping a fractured Democratic leadership together. “Democrats are for the people. Democrats are for the people,” Pelosi responded, as if saying it twice makes it more true. Of course, that’s a response that a well-trained parrot could give. Pelosi stumbled and struggled over her next few words. “It means we are for the people having lower health care costs, reducing the costs of prescription drugs. Democrats are for bigger paychecks by building the infrastructure of America, creating good paying jobs.” This is from the Constitution of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA): We are socialists because we reject an economic order based on private profit, alienated labor, gross inequalities of wealth and power, discrimination based on race, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, disability status, age, religion, and national origin, and brutality and violence in defense of the status quo. We are socialists because we share a vision of a humane social order based on popular control of resources and production, economic planning, equitable distribution, feminism, racial equality and non-oppressive relationships. We are socialists because we are developing a concrete strategy for achieving that vision, for building a majority movement that will make democratic socialism a reality in America. We believe that such a strategy must acknowledge the class structure of American society and that this class structure means that there is a basic conflict of interest between those sectors with enormous economic power and the vast majority of the population. The purpose of the Democrats is stated more eloquently in the Constitution of the DSA than how Pelosi stated it, but then that is not surprising, and perhaps the interview with Pelosi was done after the lunch hour. Gallup reported that “Democrats have a more positive image of socialism than they do of capitalism” for the first time since Gallup began polling that question over the past decade. This is supported by the call for socialist programs of all elements of the party. Open borders protesters and members of the Democrat Party and George Soros supported group Antifa chanted death to America during a counter-protest in Washington, DC, on Sunday. In a video these members of the Democrat Party who also support open borders, can be heard and seen marching down streets throughout Washington, DC, demanding an end to the United States. “No border, no wall, no USA at all!” Antifa and fellow Democrat activists chanted. Not one member of the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) Party has denounced BLM, or Antifa for their statements of hatred towards the United States nor their violence and attacks against the American people, the police, and the press. What has been suspected from as early as the days of Woodrow Wilson, enhanced by the regime of Franklin Roosevelt, and solidified by the regime of Obama, is now officially known for all: The party once called the Democrats is now officially the Marxist/Progressive Party embracing all that Marx said was necessary, including violence, suppression of speech, and censorship, to bring about his classless society where all conform to communist ideals or suffer the consequences. Remember, in their world, “The ends justify the means.”
