It is hard to believe that progressives ever listen to themselves. They are telling us that “man made climate change is going to destroy the earth in 10 years. This has been going on now for well over a half of century and not one claim they have made has come true. Weather forecasters have been far more accurate than have climate change forecasters.
We have been told that if we spend far more money than we have, that our economy will be sound, and inflation will be kept in check. This is the same as saying if we squeeze our eyes hard enough we can reverse the sun, so it comes up in the west and sets in the east.
We have been told that if we keep lowering standards and reduce discipline in our schools that the underprivileged will miraculously preform better and behave. This has brought us high school graduates that cannot read, write, do math, think, and have become criminals.
We have been told that if we remove bail, if we do not prosecute criminals, if we tell them to loot stores and rob and steal other people’s property because somehow this is good, that crime will be reduced.
We have been told if we destroy the family, create generations of welfare recipients that we will strengthen our society.
Now we are being told that when the criminal is in the act of robbing us, that we should not call the police, but we should “Say ‘no,’ ‘stop,’ or ‘that is not okay.'”
A public safety resources poster released by Democrat leaders urges small business owners in the New York City to consider alternative tools and resources, rather than calling on police for help.
Queens Councilwoman Tiffany Cabán tweeted the newly crafted resource sheet, designed to equip merchants “with better ways of solving problems than simply summoning police every time a challenge arises.” Caban campaigned on a defund the police platform, calling for the disbanding of the NYPD and redirection of billions to alternate “people and service providers.”
Progressives have been wrong and are wrong and all of their philosophies and policies.
