When we search the news and try to determine what are the issues that sperate the two main political factions in the United States, that would be the right and the left, there is a clear distinction that becomes apparent. Before I address the issues that separate, there are two observations I have that have become very clear. The first observation is that we have no news outlets that report the news without slant or without spin. Most of the outlets slant and spin for the left. Probably that is because most who report the news spent four or more years attending institutions with leftist professors and leftist influencers.
The other observation is that polls are no longer taken to give us an accurate reading of the electorate, but they are taken to influence the electorate. The thinking must be, and with a dumbed-down electorate such as is the American electorate it is probably accurate, that the uninterested, uninformed, and uninvolved will vote for those they are told are leading in the polls. When we hear man on the street interviews, it is frightening to believe that these people who are being interviewed are going to vote.
To complete the observation portion, it would be wonderful to have a news station that just gives us the facts. One that minimizes the use of adjectives and adverbs, refrains from descriptive terms like far, extremist, racist, sexist, and forces us to determine for ourselves how we perceive the action.
The other thought is we require immigrants, that is legal not illegal, to take a citizenship test. I have taken the test and it is a simple test on the structure of our government and some relevant historical information. More and more I am believing that not only should a person be required to prove that they are a citizen when voting, but they should have been required to take the citizenship test and have passed by answering at least 75% of the questions correctly.
Now to the issues that each side is claiming are the issues that should determine how you should vote.
The right is saying that inflation, open borders, crime, government transparency, government integrity, the deep state, and our national security are the core issues. If you agree, you will support the candidates on the right.
The left is saying that the right to kill babies up to and beyond birth, protecting and promoting perversions, normalizing and legalizing pedophilia, and the necessity to mutilate and destroy reproductive abilities in all children, even those as young as 4 or 5, are the core issues facing our nation.
Understand the issues being promoted by both sides and then vote based on which you think are the issues that our school boards, local government, state government, and national government should focus.
A final suggestion would be that before you vote, before those who you know vote, take the citizenship test and have them take the citizenship test. If you score above 75%, and you are otherwise a legal voter, by all means vote. If you or any of the others fail the citizenship test, that is get less than 75% correct, do not vote. Make the effort to become interested, then become informed, and then become involved. The right will welcome you as an interested, informed, and involved citizen and voter. The left has shown by their past behavior, that they will urge you to stay an uninterested, uninformed, and uninvolved voter, because you are easy to influence and control.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
