There is reason to believe that by the end of January Chris Christie will be less quoted in the news. While he is a declared candidate, the press gives him a disproportionate amount of airtime compared to the probability of him being named as the Republican nominee for president. His chance was less than 1% when he officially declared, but the press treated him as a serious candidate because his reason for running was to bash Trump.
The Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary will be held in January. Chris Christie is not even on the radar for either event. His dismal performances in the so-called debates reinforced why. His most ludicrous line was when he referred to another candidate as an obnoxious loudmouth. That is a title Christie has owned for over a decade.
Not only will Christie’s official campaign be put in mothballs, but the DeSantis campaign will as well. Unfortunately, neither contributed anything to bettering America during their campaigns. It is almost certain that Christie will become the eternal candidate; that is what an obnoxious loudmouth does. He will hopefully receive less and less airtime. He has nothing constructive to add to any discussion.
The South Carolina primary is not until February 24th. During the month of February, we will be inundated with Niki Haley, no matter how she does in New Hampshire. The media will take the opportunity to bash Trump as much as they can. Polls show that Trump will swamp Haley in South Carolina despite Haley being the former governor of South Carolina. At least Haley is not an obnoxious loudmouth, despite her being a poor candidate. Obnoxious loudmouth is deservedly owned by Chris Christie, and he will be gone officially in January.
