MCCARTHY PROVING WHY HE SHOULD NEVER BE SPEAKER

What we have witnessed in these last few days reinforces our founders warning that our nation cannot exist without virtuous leaders and a virtuous people. Kevin McCarthy is willing to sell his soul to advance the political career of Kevin McCarthy. He is demonstrating that those who oppose him are correct; Kevin McCarthy cannot be trusted.
Kevin McCarthy represents all that has been wrong with Republican leadership in the House and Senate for years. Boehner, Ryan, McConnell, and McCarthy have campaigned on conservative ideas, but have supported big government. McConnell, for instance, spent the week-end in Kentucky with Biden praising Biden’s so called economic plan, which is more and more government, less and less freedom.
If McCarthy had the best interest of the country in mind, he would put aside his personal ambitions and step aside. He would recognize that you can only win back the support of those to whom you have lied, by proving you are no longer a liar. An individual with any pride, with any virtue at all would do so. Do not hold your breath.
Do pray, not to some higher power, but pray to God that the people of our nation will once again insist on having principled and virtuous people in leadership positions. This is what those principled people in the house are trying to accomplish.
We must always remember what we are opposing, and that is a Democrat party who has promised a transformation of our nation from a republic to a democracy, to socialism, to communism. They are dedicated to that end and have proven they will do anything to accomplish their goal. This is all the more reason that people like McCarthy and McConnell should not be heading a party that claims to profess individual liberty and freedom over big government as opposed to government dominance over every aspect of the lives of individuals.
