"I think it's going to get worse," a lady said in, a declining coal region in Appalachia. She now helps run a fruit and vegetable stand with her boyfriend, but it doesn't generate much income. They live mostly off government disability checks. Meanwhile the Marxist/Progressives continue their war on coal and in other parts of the country on oil. The Keystone is still only a pipedream as are the jobs it would create.
Some define "economic insecurity" as experiencing unemployment at some point in a person’s working life, or a year or more of reliance on government aid such as food stamps or income below 150 percent of the poverty line. The risk of economic insecurity is 79 percent for all Americans today.
The idea that central government is the driving force of an
economy has always produced these same results. The idea government can tax and spend a
country into prosperity has never worked.
The idea sharing the wealth brings prosperity for any has been proven to
be a false premise. However, when the competitive forces of capitalism are allowed to work with very little government regulation, then all in society have greater prosperity. This has always been true and yet the Marxist/Progressives allow their misguided ideology blind them to reality and prosperity.
