President Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan dictator who once called President George W. Bush "the devil," has endorsed Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential race, according to the Associated Press.
"If I were American, I'd vote for Obama," Chavez said in a televised interview Sunday. "And I believe that if Obama was from Caracas, he would vote for Chavez, I am positive."
“Venezuela is full of hope for the world to take the path towards reason and peace,” Chavez said on Friday during a meeting relating to political party positions in the January 23rd neighborhood of western Caracas.
“I am very happy and the world is happy that a U.S. President has arrived with good intentions, as is reflected by the fact that he took this measure at the start of his term. In any case, I think we have to wait calmly, as Fidel mentioned in his most recent reflection,” said Chavez.
Obama’s Admiration for Chavez
February 16, 2008: The United States Tuesday welcomed Venezuela's "civic" referendum lifting term limits for the president and all politicians, but urged support for democracy and tolerance in the country. "We congratulate the civic and participatory spirit of the millions of Venezuelans who exercised their democratic right to vote," State Department spokesman Noel Clay told AFP.
Venezuelans on Sunday voted 54 percent in favor of constitutional reform sought by President Hugo Chavez to run for unlimited reelection, in his bid to consolidate his brand of socialism critics compare to Cuba's communism.
Just what brand of "socialism" is that? It is one where near total political and economic control of the state resides in the hands of the ruling elite with Chavez the main man in charge.
Mark Lloyd was appointed by Obama to promote “diversity”. He praises what he calls the Venezuelan “democratic” revolution for “social justice”. Meanwhile, the Chavez administration has taken over hundreds of private companies, banks, radio and TV stations, oil companies and the country’s currency, economy and electricity production is in serious decline.

Democratic Socialists of America's Honorary Chairperson Dolores Huerta was used by the Obama Labor Department in advertisements instructing illegal aliens to fight for fair wages. Ms. Huerta was speaking to high school students when she was praising the virtues of Hugo Chavez' Venezuela.
The Results of Obama and Chavez’s promise of HOPE and CHANGE
. Venezuelan officials arrested a second retail executive in two days, accusing their companies of hoarding goods and fixing prices, as President Nicolas Maduro responds to mounting shortages and the lowest support in two decades.
Officials detained the owner of Dia a Dia supermarket chain and took over the company’s stores, National Assembly President Diosdado Cabello told state television last night from one of the 35 occupied shops. On Feb. 1, police detained the chief executive officer of Farmatodo C.A., which runs almost 200 drug stores across Venezuela and Colombia.
Hope and Change has deepened shortages of everything from diapers to sugar in the country that imports almost everything it consumes. Rather than relaxing price controls to boost supply, the Venezuela government has blamed private industry for “waging economic war” against the government.
“I’m not playing around,” Maduro said in a televised address Monday night. “I have to defend the people, whatever the cost.”
This is the result of Share the Wealth Policies, Government Control over business and the lives of its citizens, and the eradication of principals, morality, and religion. This is the future of the United States if we continue down the path of fundamental transformation as promised by Obama and the Marxist/Progressives.
