We have been promised transformation to this equal, conforming, tolerant, and classless society where the evils of capitalism will be gone. The government must have more control so the government can crush the oppressor who has brought prejudice, greed, poverty, and misery to those they have oppressed. Sadly, many people believe the ideology of this thinking is compassionate and that equality, conformity, tolerance, and a classless society are not only possible but will solve the problems of people, those problems that we have known about since Eve bought Satan’s lie that she could be like God.
The leftist in our nation, the left being comprised of Democrats, RINOS, academics, many in the media, and those in entertainment that this is attainable and any who disagree should be crushed. Yes, they are saying the “ends justify the means.” This attainment of some sort of utopia has been touted throughout the ages. Karl Marx wrote about this ideology and even laid out a plan to achieve this classless society. It has been tried, but never achieved. Many people ask why. It was tried by the Bolsheviks under the leadership of Lenin. Leon Trotsky was second only to Lenin in this attempted transformation of Czarist Russia. What in fact happened was one dictatorship was destroyed while another gained power. Trotsky wrote a critique of the communist revolution and its results before his death in 1940. He has an incredibly insightful analysis, an analysis that was written about the status in the Soviet Union, but could be written about what has taken place in the United States, especially since October 30, 2008, when Obama promised he was about to transform the United States of America. Trotsky said, “We have defined the Soviet Thermidor (he is relating the Soviet Revolution to the Thermidors revolt against the Jacobins in France) as a triumph of the bureaucracy over the masses. We have tried to disclose the historic conditions of the triumph. The revolutionary vanguard of the proletariat was in part devoured by the administrative apparatus and gradually demoralized, in part annihilated in the civil war, and in part thrown out and crushed. The tired and disappointed masses were indifferent to what was happening on the summits. These conditions, however, important as they may have been in themselves, are inadequate to explain why the bureaucracy succeeded in raising itself above society and getting its fate firmly into its own hands. Its own will to do this would in any case be inadequate; the arising of a new ruling stratum must have deep social causes.” Trotsky goes on to tell us how the masses then came under the oppression of the ruling bureaucracy. Yes, the Bolsheviks replaced the Czars as the elites with all the privileges only to have the bureaucracy become the oppressor of the masses and the elites with the special privileges. This is consistent with revolutions time after time. The exception was the American revolution where the victors did not oppress and torture the vanquished nor did they install a dictatorship to control the masses. The American Revolution recognized that rights, liberty comes from the Creator, God and not from man nor government. The American Revolution placed ultimate authority in the hands of the people or the masses. This is now being replaced. Comrade Obama explained that the United States must be transformed to having the bureaucracy control the masses and the elites would have privileges while the people or the masses must be servants to the bureaucracy. Some things never change.
