Samuel Adams is often referred to as the Father of the American Revolution. The King of England said he would never pardon Samuel Adams for his role in the American Revolution. Samuel Adams was a Christian who believed in freedom and fought against evil and tyranny. Samuel Adams understood you could not compromise with those who professed tyranny.
“It is in the interest of tyrants to reduce the people to ignorance and vice. For they cannot live in any country where virtue and knowledge prevail. “ Samuel Adams would oppose the indoctrination and propaganda of the American left today. He would oppose the cultural agenda of the woke movement. He would not compromise in his opposition. “If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom - go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!” Samuel Adams understood that freedom can only prevail if the people elect virtuous people to office. He would strongly oppose the Democrats and RINOs in our government who debase virtue and honor. He foresaw the likes of Biden, Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell, and McCarthy. “If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.” Samuel Adams understood that it would require a determined and focused people to remain free, a people who were willing to pay any price to retain their freedom. “The liberties of our country, the freedoms of our civil Constitution are worth defending at all hazards; it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring a mark of everlasting infamy on the present generation – enlightened as it is – if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of designing men.” Samuel Adams told us what we must do in order to remain free. “It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.” Samuel Adams understood that as “the evils of Hell rise within a society, the forces of tyranny follow soon thereafter. “Religion and good morals are the only solid foundation of public liberty and happiness. “ “A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader.” Samuel Adams understood “The Road to Tyranny” is paved with compromise and partisanship. “The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending against all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks.”
