WHEN HONEST NEWS SOURCES ARE RARE, WE AS SOVEREIGN MUST DILIGENTLY SEARCH FOR TRUTHRead Now
I believe strongly in a free press or in the world of today in a free news source. It is critical in a free society such as the United States used to be that we can get impartial news stories that report facts and accurate quotes. This is exceedingly difficult to find today. I search many different news sources every day, both those that would be considered conservative and those that are considered leftist. They report on the same subject such as the virus dominating the news today, Biden raping Tara Reade, the General Flynn story, and the many others. By reading many different news outlets, I am able to put together eventually an impartial accounting with the facts.
It is difficult to get news on television today. The different outlets that would have us believe they are news outlets, report no news during the day, but are a continuing run of opinion shows. The only outlet I have found that will give me a hour of news stories, generally several dozen stories in an hour that give me facts without opinion, is One American News Network. They also have a couple of opinion shows, but the opinion shows are depicted as just that and are not purported to be news programs.
Stick with me, I have a purpose for this rant. It is incredible to me that comments by comedians, by actors, by athletes, by singers, by talk show hosts, and by other such celebrities are considered to be newsworthy. When you listen to their programs or comments, it is abundantly clear, they know less about the topic than do most Americans. Typically, their comments can best be described as inane. Yet, they are put forth as news, and people will put credence in them and base their viewpoint on these comments.
A tyrannical or collectivist (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat, all virtually the same) government depends on news sources such as I have described above. A tyrannical or collectivist nation must control the news. A well-informed population is the enemy of the collectivist government. A press will never be, cannot ever be, totally impartial. The press is comprised of people, and people have their own ideas and opinions. This is precisely why a free press is protected under the first amendment.
A free press, even with all the faults inherent within people, must also be an honest press. Even though people will have their own prejudices, they can still be honest. They can still report quotes of those who have an influence over policies, not the so-called celebrities, accurately. When we have to search many news sources to put together the full statement made by the President or any government official, we no longer have a free press. When we have to search many different sources to piece through accurate scientific studies to learn the truth of the study, we no longer have a free press. When we have to search through many different sources to gather the accuracy of released documentation on investigations by different government agencies or congressional committees, we no longer have a free press.
A tyranny or a collectivist government demands that a press operate in the manner that any controlled press would operate. A republic or a free nation and government requires a free but honest press. I call upon every American who desires to live in a republic, a free nation, to search many different news sources, even those who you know have a different opinion from yours. I would encourage every American to never take the word of an opinion news outlet or personality as truth. Always fact check them.
Every American who is a Freedom Loving American and wishes for our nation to be a free and independent people who are truly the sovereign and not the slave of a sovereign government, must assume the role of a sovereign. A good, strong, wise, and benevolent sovereign, has always been a sovereign who insists on gathering the facts of a situation, listens to many different opinions on the situation, and then is able to make a well informed and wise decision based on fact and not innuendo. A good, strong, wise, and benevolent sovereign never allows the foolish mandate, the ends always justify the means, to be their guide. We the people are to be the sovereign. Will we the people be a good, strong, wise, and benevolent sovereign, or will we become the tyrannical sovereign inherent to the collectivist?
How you answered the above question, will determine how you use the news sources available to you in the future. The more discerning the people become in searching the news, the more pressure will be placed on those who claim to be a part of the free press, to take their responsibility seriously. As it should be in a nation where the people are sovereign, the responsibility ultimately is ours.
