Did you watch the “debate” last night? It was not a debate, but it was a restatement of bumper stickers slogans on how to destroy freedom and independence. There was not a serious candidate in the group that had solutions. They told us climate change was the most crucial problem the United States faces. First of all, climate is global. Secondly change was never defined. We have been told at different times that our problem was climate cooling, then climate warming, and now catch all climate change. Then we were told that the last five years have been the warmest. Does a five-year period determine climate? Please define climate. Then we were told about isolated weather incidents in very small geographical areas. Is climate city wide, county wide, statewide, nation wide, or what area must we consider. Then we heard that the only way to solve the crisis is to redistribute more funds to bring about more social engineering and we quickly understood that climate change really is social engineering.
Everything that was discussed was discussed in bumper sticker terms with the final conclusion being that social engineering must be the solution with the federal government dictating to the citizens how they would live their lives and what their thoughts would be. Not one of the people on the stage ever referred to protecting the natural rights given to each individual of life, liberty, or property, by our Creator, but every one of then discussed having government regulating and eliminating those rights while at the same time claiming that government entitlements were indeed rights. Every one of the people on the stage expressed ways in which the government would gain more control over the citizen. A free people must be a self-responsible people. The bumper sticker promises promised that we the people no longer have to be self-responsible, but the government will take care of us from cradle to grave. We are being told this will bring prosperity. It is impossible for collectivism to bring about prosperity. Collectivism always brings about a government reliant society which always ends in financial collapse and social collapse because collectivism is limiting and destructive. There is not one within the group we heard last night that is a legitimate candidate for president of a nation that was founded on the basis of natural rights given by the Creator, a nation based on rule of law, limited government, divided government, and sovereignty of the people. They all were candidates for president for a nation of entitlements, arbitrary law, huge dictatorial government, consolidated power, and a sovereign government with the people being slaves to that government. Will a candidate for president of the United States emerge form the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) party? It appears the answer is no.
