We have discussed this transformation from a country based on the values of “individualism” for the values of “collectivism.” Today, the majority of Americans will deny they are Socialists or Marxists, and yet these very deniers of the names will proclaim the policies of the ideologies. Both political parties adhere to “collectivist” policies. The Democrats (Marxist/Progressives), no longer avoid the term socialist and proudly proclaim their allegiance to the progressive ideology. While proclaiming proudly that they are the Progressive Party, they will avoid any allegiance to Marx, who was also a proud Progressive.
In the midst of this election cycle, any discussion on the devastation of this transformation that has already occurred is avoided by the press, the leftist pundits, and sadly the Trump campaign. Instead, the news cycle is flooded with name calling, magnification of meaningless and foolish statements, and negative personality traits of the candidates. We know the press and the Clinton campaign is pleased with the pace of the transformation and desperately wants to avoid the results. The Trump campaign confuses us. Why are they not discussing the failures this transformation brought about?
Some of these failures:
The United States has a declared national debt that exceeds $19 trillion and also exceeds our GDP. These are third world country numbers. This debt is greatly restricting growth and has been acknowledged to be the most serious threat to our freedom by many very knowledgeable people.
The United States has never had such a weak recovery from a recession. Our current GDP is hovering around 1%. Although this is technically not a recession, it is fundamentally no growth. Strong world leaders must also lead economically. Our pathetic growth rate is a major reason we are losing our role as “world leader.”
Reasons for our weak economic growth include excessive regulation, excessive taxation, and demonizing those who seek to achieve. The progressives have convinced the American citizen that “income inequality” is a major contributor to the weak economic situation. “Income inequality” cannot exist in a free capitalistic system. In a free capitalistic system, income is a product of production, contribution, and effort. In a free capitalist system an individual’s income is equal to their production, contribution, and effort.
It is only in a progressive or socialist system that “income inequality” can exist. In a socialist system income is based on what the state determines to be the needs of the individual. If one person has more income than the state determines they need and another person has less income than the state determines they need, than “income inequality” would exist.
The failure of the welfare system or the safety net system has utterly failed. The state sponsored income redistribution process has done exactly what it always does; increases poverty, destroys incentive, destroys the family, and increases crime. This result is evident throughout the country and throughout all ethnic groups, but is raging in the inner city with predominantly black and brown populations. It is this process that has brought about the class warfare including the declared war on law enforcement.
Our education system has become a system of indoctrination. No longer are our children schooled to read, write, do math, or function as productive citizens. Instead our schools are indoctrinating are children in damaging progressive ideals. The class time is now filled with classes on social justice, multi-culturalism, sex education as early as first grade, progressive immorality, and Marxist principles.
Our place in the world as a world leader of peace and harmony is now scoffed at and laughed at by rogue dictators, thugs, and terrorists that prefer chaos to order. These outlaws understand that the Obama regime also considers the Unties States to be the single biggest perpetrator of oppression in the world. The outlaws understand that the chaos they create is covertly and sometimes overtly celebrated by the Obama regime and their progressive following.
A United States Secretary of State, for her own convenience and scandalous purposes, used an unprotected server to conduct all of her government, foundation, and personal business. Secret agents of the United States were identified because of this lawless activity. At least one of those agents has been killed by Iran. We do not know how many others have been identified and killed. We do not know how many other vital secrets of the United States have been stolen and fallen into the wrong hands.
Yes, the problems the United States has are many. Those listed above are but a handful. In spite of the severity of these problems, members of the press, including the conservative press, and spokes people for both campaigns including the candidates, elect to throw out insults and one liners.
We the citizens are truly at fault for this scandalous approach to winning our votes. We the people must rise above these childish tactics. We the people must be selective in where and how we get our news. We must insist that meaningful discussions take place about these truly serious issues. If we watch the news outlets who refuse to give complete and meaningful accounts about real problems, select other outlets. There are many. We must also demand that our candidates discuss the meaningful issues that will affect whether the United States will complete the progressive transformation of our nation to a third world country, as the progressive movement has done in every country they transformed.
These are vital issues. American citizens, let us abandoned the demand for the meaningless soundbite and insist on real and direct answers to the serious issues confronting our nation. Clinton, we want answers not avoidance. Trump, we want answers, not fifth grade rhetoric.
