Concerning the economy, we will hear that it is the Central Planning of Comrade Obama that has led to the economic recovery and has brought about the wonderful increase in jobs. We will probably hear about the 292,000 fictitious jobs that were created in December of 2015. Let us look at the facts of that number and it will give you an idea as to the reality of other claims that will be made in hopes of rationalizing some sort of an Obama legacy.
Here’s a newsflash that nobody mentioned and Obama will not mention. According to the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics), the US economy generated a minuscule 11,000 jobs in the month of December. That is correct; 11,000 and not 292,000. The BLS fiction writers added 281,000 to their headline number to cover the “seasonal adjustment.” This is done on the apparent truism that December is generally colder than November and that workers get holiday vacations.
The “seasonally adjusted” number is based on numbers and hiring practices from many years ago when construction and manufacturing jobs were the mainstay of the American economy. The jobs that have been created over the last several years are low paying service sector jobs and jobs that are a result of government spending including health care. These jobs are not subject to the weather factor and other factors that construction and manufacturing are. The BLS could have come out with a December number anywhere from 490,000 new jobs down to perhaps under 100,000.
Two very powerful sectors would suffer greatly with accurate estimates of job creation and that is the Obama regime and government, and Wall Street. The BLS understands. It is controlled by the regime and bows to Wall Street. The question was asked as to why the employment numbers could look so good while the earnings and projected growth numbers are so poor. The answer is obvious. BLS will reach to the sky and give the regime and Wall Street the number they want. This is the beauty of suing “seasonally adjusted” numbers.
Yes, we will listen to the State of the Union. The Marxist/Progressives will applaud and they should; we are much nearer being fundamentally transformed to a totalitarian Marxist state today than we were seven years ago. Many conservatives will lament, and they should for the same reason the Marxists/Progressives will applaud. But few will understand the fictitious claims that will be made. Now you will not be one of them.
