Boehner is gone. The question is who should replace Boehner as Speaker. People are making the typical Republican argument that it should be Kevin McCarthy because he is next in line. This is a lugubrious argument at best. This would be a change in name only. With a Speaker McCarthy we would continue the go along to get along mentality. We Freedom Loving Americans must make changes that mean change. When we are choosing a presidential nominee it is critical we support a candidate who will not just slow the Marxist movement but will reverse the Marxist movement. This means reducing government. This same principle must apply to the next speaker as well.
Kevin McCarthy says he's different than John Boehner: His skin tone doesn't have quite the same hue.
"I won't be as tan," said the 50-year-old McCarthy, who is aiming to succeed the 65-year-old Boehner as speaker, at a news conference Tuesday
He later added: "Look, I'm a little younger."
These differences McCarthy highlighted are the only differences. McCarthy as Speaker is nothing more than a younger and less tan Boehner. Freedom Loving Americans we can do better and we must do better. We worked too hard for this change to have a new Speaker who is simply younger and less tan. We must support strongly and verbally any candidate that is not McCarthy; that is any candidate who will truly fight for rule of law, limited government, divided government and rule by the people. The available candidate seems to be Rep Chaffetz.
