Why in the United States of America would a self-proclaimed socialist have this kind of support? We must take into consideration that Hillary is a very flawed candidate. Hillary is very left and probably more closely mirrors the Marxist leanings of Obama and Jarrett. Hillary also is noted to be untrustworthy, rightfully so, by the vast majority of voters based on exit polls.
Bernie Sanders, a 74 year old who looks even older, is drawing the youth of the Democrat party by overwhelming numbers. We know that younger people will often support a novice candidate to show their independence. When we consider that the younger people flocked to Obama as well we must look deeper.
Both Obama and Sanders openly proclaim their socialist agenda. Obama advocated the socialist economic system while embracing the communist political system as well. Bernie Sanders has only advocated the socialist economic system.
This willingness by many of the youth of our country to support these systems that are the antithesis of the United States, that is a republic with a capitalist system, would lead us to believe that the purposeful indoctrination of our citizens is and has been very successful.
Sarah Knopp, a leader in the Teachers Union movement stated that Marxism is a useful tool for understanding our world. Specifically, she said, a Marxist set of theories helps us to understand how knowledge is structured under capitalism, to sketch out an alternative way of thinking about knowledge and learning, and to describe the way that the economic system we live in shapes the world in which we live.
She continued by saying that Marxism also helps craft a plan of action and an alternative vision of education. Social justice educators, (Marxist educators) can be “transformational intellectuals” who wield a working-class (proletariat) liberatory pedagogy.
Lenin, speaking to Stalin and General Dzerzhinsky on his plans to bring about revolution in the United States said, “It is simple, my courageous General. We continue the same operations which gained our victory in Petrograd, and all our victories. Even our Russian proletariat needed to be prepared. We infiltrate, penetrate, and control the channels of indoctrination of the masses. The West, and especially America, has developed a strong methodology of indoctrination of their proletariat. Their schools fill the children’s heads with the myths of American exceptionalism. Their press daily is filled with lies about the glorious Socialist revolution. And their centers of entertainment create propaganda films that glorify their racist, imperialist wars of domination. These, my comrade, are the keys to the hearts of our enemy. Comrade Gumburg made great strides, but he is only one man. We penetrate these channels; insert our messages of truth and reality; that America is a racist, imperialist, hate-filled, hegemonic, xenophobic, nest of capitalist vipers fixated on global exploitation of labor to fill the coffers of American capitalist swine. When we control those channels, and can insert our truths, the American spirit and morale will wither decay and rot. The tendrils of our conspiracy will choke off American exceptionalism like a cat smothers a baby, in its cradle.”
And infiltrate they did with the help of well-known Americans like Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Barak Obama, members of the press, multitudes of educators, and influential people in entertainment. So successful has this movement been, that in many circles in American today you are shamed for defending America and praised for demeaning her. In the Democrat party today socialism is revered and capitalism is denounced. In many areas of American society ambition and achievement are ridiculed and little to no effort is rewarded with the same symbol of success that was only given to the achiever.
That movement that was initiated by Lenin has been so successful, that today in our election we have three of the leading contenders for president proclaiming the progressive values of socialism and condemning the individual efforts required with capitalism. Many Americans have resisted the ridicule castigated upon them by the Marxist/Progressive element so prevalent in America today. We must continue to resist and put forth every ounce of energy we have and make the same proclamation Lenin made, except to restore all that made America exceptional.
