Ryan is in trouble because of his stance on the TPP. He has supported the legislation from the very beginning, including fast tracking it. Ryan has never done anything to stop illegal immigration. Ryan pushed through the Boehner negotiated budget agreement that gave Obama everything Obama wanted. Ryan was the consensus choice for Speaker when McCarthy hung himself with his foolish comments about the Benghazi committee’s purpose being to derail Clinton’s campaign and not it’s true purpose of learning the facts. Remember, it was because of the Benghazi committee that the American public learned that Clinton had used her own private server to transmit classified information, which is against the law.
When another closet progressive was forced from the speakership and the House, John Boehner, the Republican progressive wing insisted that their hero Paul Ryan become Speaker. Now, what we are led to believe, a true Conservative is threatening Ryan as did a true Conservative defeat Cantor. Boehner, Cantor, and now Ryan have been exposed. Perhaps the Republican establishment truly has been exposed and those who have referred to the Republican Party as a Conservative Party are now realizing that the Republican establishment are and have been closet Progressives for years.
Whether the Republican Party remains in name is not important. What is important is that the Republican Party change into what it has purported to be for the last 50 years. The Republican Party has claimed it is the party of the Conservatives. The biggest problem the Republican Party has had over the years is that it has not stood for Conservative values as established by its founder Barry Goldwater. Instead, the Republican Party has enabled the Marxist/Progressives. The Republican Party has been the enabling party because it has only opposed the speed by which the Democrats have wanted to implement Marxist/Progressive principles in the United States.
Boehner, Cantor, and Ryan are perfect examples. Barry Goldwater stood for a smaller government. Goldwater understood that government is the single biggest enemy of freedom and liberty for the individual. Goldwater understood that slowing the growth of government just delayed Marx’s “Dictatorship of the Proletariat” from taking place.
Barry Goldwater understood that every dollar that was taken from the producer and transferred to the government through taxes or fees cut the rate of growth of the GDP. When the rate of growth of the GDP is reduced, poverty is increased, opportunity is decreased, government debt is increased, independence and self-reliance are discouraged, and government dependence is increased. Goldwater understood that all of these elements would reduce the role of the United States as world leader and bring about world unrest.
Barry Goldwater told the Republican Party what Conservative values are. The Republican Party adhered to the Conservative values of Goldwater in name only. In practice, Boehner, Cantor, and Ryan claimed to believe in these values, but would always say “just not now.” They were and are wrong. The time is now.
The time is now for those who claim to be conservative to start being Conservative. The time is now that the Conservatives start to reduce government in dollars and numbers. The time is now for the government to get out of the daily lives of the individual citizen and encourage all individuals to be self-reliant and independent. The time is now for the debt to be reduced and not just the deficit. The time is now for the abolition of a progressive income tax. The time is now for the government to start to eliminate unconstitutional agencies and departments. The time is now for the government to end its attacks on the “Bill of Rights.” The time is now for the government to eliminate laws and regulations that control our natural rights such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The time is now that government once again becomes a servant and not a sovereign. The time is now for the Conservative to proudly stand for those Goldwater Conservative principles because if we do not, it will be too late to stop the transformation to a Marxist/Progressive tyrannical society started around the 1900’s and openly called for by Obama in November of 2008.
Yes, Conservatives, the time is now, regardless of what we call ourselves.
