“I’m done being polite and listening to this nonsense,” he said during a rally in his hometown of Westerville, Ohio, according to The Columbus Dispatch, without naming either of the outsiders atop the GOP polls.
“I want you to know I’m fed up,” he said. “I’ve about had it with these people.”
“What happened to our party?” Kasich asked of the GOP. “What happened to the conservative movement?”
All Kasich has to do is to observe the happenings of this week to understand what has happened to his party and the conservative movement. The Republican Establishment of McConnell, Boehner, Cornyn, McCarthy, McCain, and you get the idea has always fought the conservative movement. The Republican Establishment has never supported or agreed with the conservative movement. The conservative movement believes in the principles of the founders; rule of law, limited government, divided government, and rule by the people. The Republican Establishment supports bigger government and government rule; the Republican Establishment believes in the principle of beltway politics.
This week is just another glaring example of the above. The conservatives were successful in removing Boehner from the Speaker position only to have him replaced by another Speaker with the same principles of Boehner. Even Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are satisfied. Then this new Speaker complains about the process of the budget negotiations only to throw his support behind the budget. Apparently Ryan believes his little charade camouflaged who he really is. Ryan is a part of the Republican Establishment and just like them supports bigger government and beltway politics.
The budget Ryan supported, the one dictated by Obama to Boehner and McConnell, is another sellout by the Republican Establishment. Spending is increased as desired by Obama. The debt ceiling is extended as desired by Obama. The conservatives were once again kept out of the process and the march to a Marxist totalitarian state remains intact.
This is what happened to your party John Kasich. Your party does not have the courage and determination to fight for the freedom that was bestowed upon us by an unrelenting and courageous group of Freedom Loving people in the 1770’s. If the founders had the same desire for freedom the Republican Establishment has, we would still call Elizabeth II our queen. Conservatives or Freedom Loving Americans hold true to those principles of rule of law, limited government, divided government, and rule by the people. For us, these are not campaign slogans but truly held beliefs for which we are willing to sacrifice just like the founding fathers. We Freedom Loving Americans truly believe the United States Constitution is an instrument by which the people can and should restrain the government. The Republican Establishment believes the government is an instrument to control the people by making the people government dependent.
I cannot tell you John Kasich that the Republican Establishment abandoned the Conservatives because the Establishment was never a part of the Conservatives; it was not the Conservatives choice but the Establishments choice. This is why you see Freedom Loving Americans searching for people who might have the closely held Conservative beliefs and principles. We no longer are willing to sit by while we head toward the cliff of Marxist totalitarianism at a slower pace than the Marxists want to take us. We Freedom Loving Americans will exhibit the same courage and determination exhibited by our founders when they established freedom so we can restore and then maintain that freedom. If that leaves you behind John Kasich, so be it.
