People have also lost confidence that the government can protect the Homeland. This is in reference to all areas of protection. It includes protecting the American people from foreign enemies, from diseases being brought into the country, and protect us economically.
Chuck Todd, a consistent supporter of Obama and the Marxist/Progressive regime asked a regime representative over the week-end why the American people should trust Obama and the regime. Todd then went on to list different scandals that have happened over the last several years. In those scandals he did not list things like Fast and Furious. He also asked about the incompetency and not the misguided philosophy.
David Axelrod stated he would not have allowed Obama to say over the week-end that the election is not a referendum on him but is a referendum on his policies. This is very telling. I certainly do not agree with Axelrod, but I have always respected his political instincts. I hope his instincts are correct this time. The above issues deal more with the leadership style and decisions making capabilities of Obama and not his philosophy. Obama is saying it is his policies on which the voters will vote.
Axelrod did not want Obama to admit this. I would believe Axelrod would prefer to see this election outcome, which looks like it will not be good for the regime, being discussed in the realm of personality as opposed to philosophy. Axelrod and the rest of the Marxist/Progressive will not want to admit the American people are rejecting the idea of a classless society, an America with no borders, an America whose goal is to diminish her power so she can become the equivalent of the states the Marxist/Progressive believes she has exploited: in other words a Marxist/Progressive America.
There are certainly many sound reasons to reject the person Obama including his choice of associates, his inability to make a decision, his narcissistic personality, and all those other faults. People come and go. Philosophies live on beyond the individual. Let us hope Axelrod is correct and this election will be the beginning of a reversal of the Marxist/Progressive movement in America and a return to a true free society with a free and open economic system.
