The headlines of the news broadcasts, the newspapers, and the pundits discuss and argue about transgender issues as a well known Olympic athlete decides he is really a women and not a man. The same outlets discuss the virtue or deceit of a white lady claiming she is really black and working for the NAACP. A lying news anchor is allowed to again practice broadcasting for an irrelevant and barely watched news station. These news outlets waste hours arguing about the New York Times discovery that a major announced candidate for President had four traffic tickets in the last many years. Because of the amount of coverage, these incidents are treated as if they have importance.
Meanwhile, the issues that have a major affect today and will determine if the United States will be a free nation in 2016 do not even make the news broadcasts or are even mentioned in a newspaper. When did you last read or hear that the National debt is now over $18 trillion dollars as reported by the Treasury. The number has been artificially frozen for the last couple of months. If it had not the debt would be well over $18.5 trillion and growing. This puts us in the same category as Greece; our debt is greater than our GDP. The only possible conclusion of the Greece situation is an even more disastrous economic situation than it has today. The Greek people will suffer greatly. The American people will suffer greatly.
Greece refuses to face its problem of providing pensions and other government services it cannot afford. The United States refuses to face the impending implosion of our economic system due to our refusal to face the very real problems of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Obamacare. We put our heads in the sand, as the Greeks have done and do, and pretend like this problem does not exist.
Reading the newspapers and listening to some of the broadcasts, we are led to believe as the United Nations believes that the way to solve all the problems in the Middle East is to bring about a Palestinian State. The extended goal of the United Nations is to eventually eliminate Israel. Meanwhile the Jihadists continue to openly declare their intended destruction of all that would not be a willing part of a Caliphate state. The Jihadists will stop at nothing to bring this about. The only real possibility of any semblance of peace and stability in the Middle East is the elimination of the Jihadist. Yet, those who would lead us do not even recognize that this danger is real since they will not even utter the word Jihadist. We are told a contrived crisis called “climate change, or cooling, or warming” is the biggest threat we face.
The news broadcasts and newspapers concentrate on rulings that will come from the Supreme Court. The news broadcasts and newspapers do not discuss the destruction of the United States Constitution. Many of the news outlets report as if the United States Constitution is still the law of the land. It is not and has not been for many years, but truly in the last eight years it has been put through the paper shredder and taken to the dump. Our nation is no longer a nation of “rule of law, limited government, divided government, and rule by the people.” This is what the United States Constitution said we would be. We are now the beginning of a totalitarian Marxist state. Examples of this totalitarian rule would be the EPA, the IRS, the DOJ, the DOE, or really the executive branch of government.
We the people have allowed this to happen. We the people have paid too much attention to the mundane areas and did not pay attention to the major issues that have been taking freedom and liberty from us every day. We the people have trusted those we have elected. Unlike Reagan, we trusted but did not verify. The American Revolution to win our freedom from the King began around kitchen tables and in coffee shops where people grew to understand the real danger they faced of living under a tyrannical government. These brave people than declared they were willing to risk everything to be free. These people made it a burning obsession to be free. If we who love freedom wish for this country to remain free, we must adopt that same spirit and love for freedom our founders did. We must be willing to put all at risk. Freedom can only exist in a nation with citizens who love freedom above all else except God. Are you that citizen?
