The Form of Government the United States now has should be abolished or altered according to the “Declaration of Independence.” It specifically states that when the government “becomes destructive of these ends” the people have the right to abolish it or alter it. The current government has become destructive of these ends."
The government no longer treats people as if they are created equal. The government has declared many amongst us have been created less than others and so they need special privileges. Those who were created less than others are to receive special economic allotments, special consideration for entrance to institutions of learning, special consideration for entry into the Armed Forces, special considerations for employment, and yes special consideration under the law in general.
In addition, the government now declares that certain unalienable rights are to be endowed by the government and not the Creator. The government has determined that the unborn child does not have a right to life. The government has determined that liberty for one can and will differ from the liberty for another. The government has determined that all have a right to the outcome of happiness and not the pursuit.
Also, our government is a government of arbitrary law and not rule of law, big government and not limited government, consolidated government and not divided government, and a sovereign government with the people as the servants as opposed to a sovereign people with government as the servant.
The government has become detrimental to the very essence of the framework of our nation. We are no longer the land of the free and our Constitution is no longer the law of the land. It is time to abolish or alter our form of government.
Just like the colonists we have reached the point of no return. The “Declaration of Independence” goes on to say, “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.”
We are a less free people in many ways then were the colonists. Now is the time for us to alter the current system of government and acknowledge that the unalienable rights are from the Creator and not man nor government and restore rule of law, limited government, divided government, and rule by the people.
