What we do not know is how the Republican establishment will vote. We know what the Republican establishment will say during campaigns and when they are giving speeches at fund raising events. These power-seeking individuals will denounce taxes because they say, and rightfully so, that taxes take away from economic growth and economic growth is what we seek. After all, they will say, they support a free economy because they are capitalists.
We know there will not be one Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) that will support the current bill on tax reform and tax cuts. The Republicans can only lose two votes, or the tax reform and tax cut bill will go the same way the so-called repeal of Obamacare went; to the wastebasket. There have been some in the Republican Party that have used this narrow margin to their advantage by calling for more tax cuts to certain groups. The bill has been adjusted, rightfully so, to accommodate these legitimate concerns.
Now we are learning that some of the Republican establishment are arguing that they cannot support a tax reform and tax cut bill if it might increase the deficit. What a stupid argument to use as an excuse not to support this very necessary bill. Of course, an immediate decrease in revenue will increase the deficit unless there are immediate cuts in spending to accommodate the tax cuts. The whole purpose of a tax cut is to allow the private economy to retain more so they can invest and increase the GDP. It took three years for the Reagan tax cuts “kick in” and increase the GDP which increase revenues dramatically.
What we do not see is these same members of the Republican establishment oppose increases in welfare programs and safety net programs. These increases in spending increase the deficit. The answer these Republican establishment members have given as an answer to their opposition to raising the deficit is to increase taxes to cover the additional expense. How foolish. The increase in taxes will slow down the growth of GDP and ultimately decrease revenues.
These members of the Republican establishment are truly closet Marxist/Progressives. They not only support the same agenda, but they are also dishonest, manipulative, and liars. We again know that the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) DNA determines that they be dishonest, manipulative, and liars. This is who they are. It was Harry Reid, on the floor of the Senate, that lied about having from good sources that Mitt Romney had never paid income taxes. When later questioned about this now known lie, Reid’s response was, “Well he didn’t win did he.” Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) are dishonest, manipulative, and liars. This is just a fact.
Conservatives play by the rules. This is the essence of their DNA. That is who they are, they cannot help it. When somebody claims to be a conservative, we automatically assume they will be honest and straightforward with us. What conservatives have come to learn is that many who call themselves conservative, in fact have the DNA of a Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) and therefore cannot be trusted. Once again, we are learning this lesson with this important piece of legislation.
What we conservatives, we Freedom Loving Americans must quickly do is to extinguish, abolish, obliterate, these imposters from our conservative and Freedom Loving American party. We have not done that. We have continued to allow these same imposters to claim to represent our viewpoint, only to be deceived time after time. For that we must take full responsibility. Unless we get rid of these imposters, we will allow the fundamental transformation of the Untied States from a free and independent nation to a Marxist tyranny as promised by Comrade Obama.
