Sharpton said he is not going to become involved in these incidents because he only protests when an injustice has been done. Every one of these incidents was a bigger injustice than was the Trayvon Marin situation when the jury said it was self-defense and the Tawana Brawley case which was fabricated. Justice is of no import to Sharpton or Jackson. Their only concern is what will bring more money into their pockets.
Are Sharpton and Jackson accessories to these murders and should they be put on trial. An accessory is a person who assists in the commission of a crime, but who does not actually participate in the commission of the crime as a joint principal. The distinction between an accessory and a principal is a question of fact and degree. Both Sharpton and Jackson have certainly enabled these young thugs by making excuses for them and their kind. Sharpton, Jackson, the press and many others continue to tell these thugs they are not responsible for their own actions. They are the victims no matter what they do and society is responsible for their actions no matter how heinous.
We will all hear the excuses for these thugs and be told we should have pity on them. What about the victims? Apparently these victims should not have been in the place they were to tempt the thugs. If the victims had been in a different place these accidents would not have happened. Sharpton and Jackson are at the very least enablers and a convincing argument can be made they are accessories to murder in each of these cases. When will we as a society stop this victim mentality and start to stress responsibility of the individual regardless of race. Until we do these actions will continue. If Sharpton and Jackson were leaders who were truly interested in the betterment of society and not making themselves richer, they would lead the outcry against the injustice done against these victims specifically and society in general.
