Obama was speaking about the recent takeover of what military experts call a key city by ISIS. The battle for Ramadi has been going on for some time. When it appeared that ISIS had the upper hand, the Obama regime began to explain that Ramadi is not that important.
ISIS has expanded its dominance over more area in Iraq and Syria and critical areas such as Ramadi. In the meantime, the strategic, but very limited airstrikes have seemed to have limited to no affect. In war, winning and losing is measured by who gains territory and dominance. When the Turks overran Constantinople they were able to establish the Ottoman Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire was considered to be defeated. That is how war works.
When Obama said, “We are not losing” he must have meant the Marxist/Progressives. What is happening in the Middle East and throughout neighboring areas seems to be in line with what Obama and the Marxist/Progressives want; continued chaos in the world with the United States having less and less influence in world affairs.
If you will look objectively at the Obama foreign policy, this is what his polices have achieved because that has always been the intent. When Obama says that we are not losing, he means the Marxist/Progressives. Unfortunately, the ultimate goal of Obama is the demise of the United States which is not, or should not, be a goal of United States Citizens who are not Marxist/Progressives.
