His Attorney General has been the most political Attorney General in decades. The left did not criticize the regime when the Attorney General reversed a guilty ruling on the Black Panthers who were clearly intimidating voters. This is a direct threat to democracy. The left defended and made excuses for the regime when it was clear they were giving guns to drug dealers in the Fast and Furious fiasco.
The left defended the regime, including Hilary Clinton, when at the very least the negligence and lying by the State Department and White House ended with the deaths of four Americans. It is becoming more and more clear however that this fiasco was not due just to negligence, but it was a cover up for more Fast and Furious type weapons running with “rebels” in Syria.
The left defended the regime and the IRS when it was obvious the direction to target conservative groups by the IRS was from the leadership in the IRS and even possibly from the White House. This is again a direct affront to freedom and democracy.
When, however, the members of congress on the left see a threat to their reelection, they are then ready to investigate. Freedom itself and the lives of Americans cannot get them to demand answers, only their own positions.
Senator Hagan D-NC, who is up for reelection in 2014, is asking her Senate colleagues to co-sign a letter asking two agencies to conduct “a complete, thorough investigation to determine the causes of the design and implementation failures of HealthCare.Gov.”
“These problems are simply unacceptable, and Americans deserve answers and swift solutions,” Hagan writes in a letter obtained by The Hill. “Taxpayers are owed a full and transparent accounting of how the vendors contracted to build the site failed to launch it successfully.”
Americans did not deserve, apparently, a full and transparent account of the threats to our freedom or the lives of our diplomats. No wonder you receive no respect, you do not deserve any.
