Now we have naive, ideological and incompetent Obama in charge. He cannot trust or believe himself. The contradictions are never ending. There will be no American boots on the ground as of yesterday but today we will commit 275 troops. Maybe this was decided after a slice into the deep rough.
Domestically his policies are devastating the coal industry and along with it the state of Kentucky, neighboring states and much of American industry. Obama is putting workers out of work every day. So what is his solution; spend lots of money in job training and grants. Every out of work or soon to be out of work worker should be asking, training to do what? We already have the lowest employment participation rate in generations. Even low paying jobs and part time jobs are difficult to find. However, the Obama regime again thinks if they can craft an incredible paragraph of meaningless words, all will be well.
Here is the paragraph they crafted as the solution for the mess they have created in Kentucky and all related energy industries.
“The arrival of a new, cleaner, more efficient and innovation-led energy economy will bring new jobs, competitiveness, and growth to the United States. As this evolution unfolds, however, many of the very workers and communities that fueled America’s historic growth and prosperity will need transition assistance in order to participate fully in this emerging new energy future. The action taken by Labor Secretary Thomas E. Perez in announcing the grant represents an important step in moving all Americans toward greater opportunity through economic development and diversification. This is a commitment that our nation owes to the workers of Kentucky.”
Out of work workers in Kentucky and America, take that to the grocery store, the gas station, the department store and other schools and colleges. It is as meaningful and has as much credibility as you can keep your doctor or you can keep you insurance. It will buy as much as the rest of the hot air we have heard and continue to hear.
