The principles upon which the United States was founded was that we would be a country based on rule of law, limited government, divided government, and rule by the people. Like Obama, Ellison agrees with Marx that all long-standing principles must be abolished so the current society can be destroyed and a new fair and just (communist) society can be established. Like Obama, Ellison believes that the United States is the evilest of all imperialist nations and the power and wealth of the United States must be destroyed so we are equal to all other countries, including third world nations. These core beliefs are not only the beliefs of Obama and Ellison, but also are the core beliefs of the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats).
Ellison, like Obama, has favored the Muslim movement. Obama has aided the Jihadist movement by enabling ISIS to become the dominant terrorist organization in the world. Ellison long supported the Nation of Islam and defended Farrakhan’s anti-American and anti-Jewish statements. Ellison was defending Farrakhan while Obama was listening to Rev. Wright’s anti-American statements. Obama referred to Rev. Wright as his spiritual leader and close friend.
Democratic Minnesota Representative and Democratic National Committee chairman candidate Keith Ellison once called for slavery reparations and a separate country for black Americans in a university newspaper column.
Ellison’s writings while a student at the University of Minnesota law school– under the name “Keith Hakim”– raised eyebrows when he announced his first congressional run in 2006. The Weekly Standard noted that “Ellison refers to ‘Minister Louis Farrakhan,’ defends Nation of Islam spokesman Khalid Abdul Muhammad, and speaks in the voice of a Nation of Islam advocate… ‘Hakim’ demands reparations for slavery and throws in a demand for an optional separate homeland for American blacks.”
Both Obama and Ellison support socialism. Ellison endorsed socialist Bernie Sanders early in the campaign. “’I’m endorsing Bernie because he is talking about the issues that are important to American families.” These were the issues advocated by Karl Marx, which included a steeply progressive and punitive income tax table, free public education to bring about a complete indoctrination system disguised as education, reward based on need and not production, a central planning system, and public control of all elements of production. These are also supported by the Marxist/Progressive Party (Democrats).
In a February 2013 interview with Fox News' Stuart Varney, Ellison expressed his belief that it is “fair” for the wealthy to be taxed at whatever rate is necessary to raise money for the provision of services to lower-income Americans. When asked if a 65% or 75% income tax rate would be fair, he stuck to his principle.
After Fidel Castro died in November 2016, Ellison issued the following statement about the late Cuban dictator:
"He was a revolutionary leader who confronted a system of government that excluded everybody except the military and the money-rich. And he took them on, defeated them and then set the country up in a way where … Did he use harsh dictatorial tactics? Yes, probably he did … but, did he also stand up for peace and freedom in Africa? Absolutely. His Cuban forces took on the South Africa apartheid military forces and defeated them.
"And, actually deployed doctors anywhere from Chernobyl to all over South Africa, anywhere people were sick. He sent those doctors there. He made medical education very available, made medicine available. So if you look at his legacy you have to say that he confronted people with a lot of power on behalf of people that didn’t have any. He also did jail people who were political critics of his, he also did not allow … free speech … It’s a mixed bag."
It is no mixed bag with Keith Ellison. Ellison has supported strongly the Muslim movement (anti-American movement) and the movement advocated by Obama and all Marxists to fundamentally transform the United States from a free and capitalistic nation to a totalitarian Marxist state. A Marxist state advocates socialism, total equality, and total conformity. This is everything the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) support and it is the antithesis of the United States of America that was founded on the principles of rule by law, limited government, divided government, and rule by the people.
