The argument the Marxists are using today to control the perception of the recent election, in which the Marxist/Progressives were soundly defeated, is that Hillary really won the election because she won the popular vote. The fact is that Hillary Clinton received 2.6 million more votes than did Trump. When the Marxists and useful idiots make that claim it is factual, but it is terribly misleading.
Clinton won California by more than 3.4 million votes. She won New York by 1.5 million and Illinois by 915,000. That is a total of approximately 5.8 million votes. Even adjusting only for California, it changes the outcome of the popular vote. California is truly an anomaly compared to the rest of the country. California is the heartland of Marxism. The Marxist party of California has a super majority in the California legislature. A bill was recently passed to make California a sanctuary state. New York and Illinois are close seconds to California in their desire to follow the dictates of Karl Marx and transform the United States from a free and capitalist country to a Marxist tyranny.
When quoting the popular vote final count in the recent election, we must note why the Marxists can claim a popular vote victory. Three of the largest states, who favor socialist economic policies and Marxist social policies, overwhelmingly voted for the Marxist/Progressive candidate. The rest of the nation rejected that same Marxist/Progressive candidate, even in states that have traditionally voted to support the Democrats.
The other factual statement the Marxist/Progressives are making now that is totally misleading, is that the United States is a nation of immigrants, therefore illegal immigrants should be welcomed. There is absolutely no question that the United States is comprised of immigrants. However, one could make that same claim for many countries. Immigration and emigration have been facts of life since the beginning of time.
To make the statement that “the United States is a nation of immigrants” is made for the specific purpose of justifying illegal immigration. When the colonists settled Jamestown, they did so legally, they did so with the blessing and frankly encouragement of Great Britain. While the colonies were still under the control of Great Britain, immigration was encouraged with virtually no restrictions. Great Britain encouraged immigration because of the financial rewards it brought to Britain. After the United States became an independent nation, the United States government encouraged people to come and settle the vast areas available.
As time went on, more control and more restrictions on immigration were put in place. Many of the immigrants went through a screening at Ellis Island. As the United States grew, people were still welcomed, but with more and more controls. Laws, to control and regulate immigration, were established. As a nation, it became apparent that these laws must be enforced and borders must be regulated so as to protect the interests of the citizens of the United States.
The Marxists make their factual but misleading statement to have people believe that illegal immigration has always been the normal course of business. This is not true. Nations cease to exist as nations when they lose control of their borders. The Marxists favor the policy of illegal immigration because it means more votes for them. We are seeing immigrants, illegal and legal move into countries who have Marxist style welfare systems and safety net programs. This is the Marxists way of buying votes.
The results are very evident. It is the Marxist strategy of buying votes and justifying illegal immigration that accounted for Hillary Clinton winning the popular vote in the last election. California, New York, and Illinois are the premier Marxist states in our union and promote and protect illegal immigration.
Much of the rest of the nation has seen the fallacy of Marxism by observing these three malfunctioning and bankrupt states that are repelling business and attracting those who desire to be government dependent. Marxism is failing in these three states just as it failed in the Soviet Bloc, China, Cuba and now Venezuela.
