Rep. Xavier Becerra (Marxist/Progressive Calif.) on Sunday said "we need to move" on immigration action. Becerra said that the issue is, in fact, urgent.
"If it were your child, and you were about to be separated from your child, simply because Congress is dysfunctional and doesn’t get its job done, then you would say, 'My God, this is crazy, a citizen child being separated [from their family],' " Becerra said.
"The people voted in November to have us get things done," Becerra said.
The Marxist/Progressive is correct. The situation is said. That does not change the law. That does not change the fact that the individuals being separated broke the law and by definition are criminals. When a parent is convicted of a crime they are a criminal and are separated from their children.. We follow the law in that situation. Under "rule of law" the executive branch has the constitutional duty to follow the law until it is changed as outlined in the constitution.
The Marxist/Progressive also says this is the fault of congress because congress has not done anything.. He says the people voted in November to have congress get things done . Congress has acted by not doing anything. This is part of the system. Congress has the choice not to pass law as well as to pass law. So far as the vote is concerned in November, it would seem the people thing Congress has done far to much. It would seem the people said we want to return to "rule of law" and we are done with Marxism.
