Obama and Lenin are of the same philosophy. They both are Marxists. Their goal is to advance Marxism within their own borders and internationally. Within their own borders their overall priority is to centralize all means of production. This means that the government controls, whether by ownership or by regulation, all elements of production. Commerce is not to be controlled by the dictates of the marketplace, but the decisions in the business world are to be dictated through centralized planning. Marx taught both Lenin and Obama that when the capitalist is left to make his own decisions, he will always decide based on greed and “not for the common good.” This is why Obama has begun a public campaign against businesses that have moved their headquarters to a nation that has lower top corporate tax rates than does the United States. According to Obama, the company should, because of the “common good,” want to pay income taxes at a rate of 35% as opposed to half that rate and in some cases even less. This is how a Marxist thinks.
Although both Obama and Lenin have the same philosophy, they come from different backgrounds and different political situations. Consequently they have employed different tactics. This does not change the fact that their priorities and goals are the same. Lenin was born Vladimir Ulyanov. Alexander II was the Czar of Russia at the time. The Romanov Dynasty had ruled Russia for 250 years at that time. Russia was a totalitarian state with the word of the Czar being the law of the land. Young Ulyanov came from a family of rebels. His older brother was hanged in 1887 for plotting against Alexander III. This, as much as anything, influenced Vladimir Ulyanov in his decision to study the teachings of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Lenin was first a revolutionary and then became a Marxist.
Obama was schooled in the ways of Marxism since early childhood. He was schooled at the feet of his Grandfather and Frank Marshall Davis. Obama continued his education in learning the Marxist philosophy during his college years and beyond. He became a community organizer and learned the ways of Saul Alinsky. We know he was introduced to revolutionary ideas while he was sitting in the pews of the church of Jeremiah Wright as well as his association with Bill Ayers. Obama was a Marxist who was then introduced to organizing and hard core revolutionaries.
Lenin was in a position to attempt pure Marxism by nationalizing all aspects of production. He quickly learned it was a total disaster and became more pragmatic by using centralization through regulation. Obama apparently has taken note and is concentrating his efforts of centralization through regulation. Obama also learned from Lenin that it is critical to first control the segments of health care, finance, energy, and education. Fortunately for Obama, many Marxist/Progressives prior to him had already begun the control and regulation of those segments.
No, Obama is not a Marxist-Leninist; he is a Marxist/Progressive. The only difference between Obama and Lenin is the situation of the nation they ruled and are attempting to rule. When we observe the secrecy, the disregard for law, the disregard for the rights of the people both legal and inalienable, and the attitude
