We learned a few weeks ago more people were on government aid of some sort than were actually working. Now we learn the percentage of American civilians 16 or older who have a job or are actively seeking one dropped to a 35-year low in October, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In September, the labor force participation rate was 63.2 percent, but in October it dropped to 62.8 percent—the lowest it has been since February 1978, when Jimmy Carter was president. Over 11,000,000 people have dropped out of the work force since the regime headed by Obama entered the White House. Over 91,000,000 Americans are now not in the work force.
When the labor statistics are released each month, we hear Obama explain how wonderful they are. Most of the newly created jobs reported tend to be part time. What is not publicly declared by Obama or widely reported is the number of Americans who have dropped out of the workforce. This is the number that comprises the 11,000,000. These results should not be surprising. It is what happens when the fundamental transformation called for by Obama and outlined by Marx is attempted. If you want to see what is coming, look at Venezuela. They are now having a state takeover of retail businesses. We just had a state takeover of the health industry, is the retail industry far behind?
