The Marxist/Progressives have always invoked democracy into any title or sentence they can. Karl Marx started this concept in his last attempt at running a newspaper on the European Continent. In 1948, he, Engels and some others tried to raise capital for this attempted venture. They failed in raising even half of what they needed but started the venture anyway. They called this publication “Organ of Democracy” which it was not.
The Marxist/Progressive has always been willing to accept the results of democracy so long as it furthers their cause. When it goes against their wishes, they quickly revert to their true philosophy which is they know best. Just like the Marxist/Progressive adheres to the adages of the ends always justify the means, never let the truth get in the way of moving a program forward and rules are for them, not us, they also adhere to the practice of act like a dictator when congress gets in the way.
We have untold examples of this, but I am going to point to two specifically. In April of 1942, Roosevelt asked Congress to pass a bill calling for income over $25,000 to be taxed at 100%. Like all Marxist/Progressives, he said this was fair. Congress disagreed and refused to pass his bill. Roosevelt tried to get the same bill passed again four months later, because it was just and proper and people did not need any more income. Congress again disagreed. Roosevelt would not give up and used his dictatorial powers by signing an executive order in October of 1942 enacting the 100% confiscation of income over $25,000. He then said this was necessary to correct gross inequalities.
Recently we were told by the leader of the
current regime and Marxist/Progressives that he is not a dictator but the President. If he considers himself the President, he will understand he is a coequal branch of our Republic. He asked congress to pass a bill calling for registration of guns. The Senate, under the prevailing rules of the Senate, voted not to pass the bill. A President might acknowledge he did not concur with the Senate but would accept his position as a coequal branch that only signs into law bills passed by Congress. The President does not make law. A dictator, on the other hand, would say you are wrong and we will impose our will regardless of what you say. The vice dictator, Joe Biden, stated after the Senate vote that Obama is going to take “executive action” to deal with guns. After all, we know best, enough of Democracy. Does this make him a President or a Dictator?
