Our country is in the middle of a very unique debate. The debate is unique, not because of the subject matter, but because the overwhelming number of its proponents and the overwhelming number of its opponents do not understand the essence of the debate. The few of its proponents, who do understand the essence, deny and camouflage their intentions to fundamentally change our country. If they were honest with their followers, many would abandon these deceitful people.
Those who claim to oppose this movement, after they are done with the flag waving and slogan spewing, say we must make a change to save our country, but only if it does not affect me. In order to preserve, or restart the great economic engine that was the United States, all of its citizens will be affected. If we do not make the sacrifice now, all citizens will be affected even more. Southern Europe is a representative example of the disastrous results of the damaging policies of this regime and others before it.
The fundamentals of the debate are, do we
wish to continue down the path toward an egalitarian and totally conforming
society where excellence and achievement are punished, or do we wish to
establish the fundamentals of our former society where the uniqueness of the
individual was encouraged. A philosopher said that freedom is when an individual is free to choose for himself and absolute freedom is when that choice is always for the benefit of the community. This is total conformity and has always led to enslavement and totalitarianism. Will our choice be freedom as Americans have known freedom or absolute freedom as proclaimed by the current leader of this regime and the American Marxist/Progressives?
