We knew Obama would find some way to enable the rulers of Iran to move ahead with the bomb. We knew the regime would find a way to continue to make Israel’s position more tenuous. We knew the world would become a less safe place because of the indecisive nature, immaturity and poor judgment on the part of the regime.
We knew the Senate would not work with the House and neither would work with the regime. This is good thing because it means fewer laws are passed. It seems every time a law is passed Americans become less free.
What we did not know is how concerned the Senate is about people receiving their Christmas presents by Christmas. This is critical to the well being and longevity of our nation and our freedom as citizens. We owe a huge thank you to Senator Blumenthal for his prompt action in showing concern for people who did not receive their Christmas presents by Christmas.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) on Thursday urged the UPS to provide refunds to consumers whose packages and gifts did not arrive by Christmas.
“I am disappointed to learn that so many consumers in Connecticut and across the country made purchases this holiday season expecting their gifts to arrive in time for Christmas, but instead were left empty-handed,” Blumenthal said in a statement.
“I call on UPS to do the right thing and provide refunds to people whose Christmases were a little less cheery as a result of their late deliveries.”
Maybe we should have a law passed to punish those evil doers and insure in the future all presents will arrive by Christmas. I am sure there is outrage in the hearts of all Senators.
