Now we have Hilary playing the same game. She clarified her statement when she said “It takes a village to raise a child.” This is a classic socialist concept. She clarified it to explain how we all have to be concerned with the children. Then she said, “Don’t let anybody tell you that it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs. You know that old theory, trickle-down economics. That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”
This was also on video. I saw her make the statement and she made it in a very definite manner. Other than her typical “you know,” she did not seem to be grasping for words. Her statement was very definite. A Clinton aide later said the former secretary of state had meant to talk about tax breaks for corporations and businesses in that sentence, which led into a line about how trickle-down economics had “failed spectacularly” — a sentiment she has long held.
This is true. Clinton has always wanted to tax everybody more, including corporations. She has also always believed that it is government that creates jobs and it is government that should be controlling all aspects of commerce. This was her thinking before she worked for Saul Alinsky, and even more so after. She is an indoctrinated Marxist and believes the same line as do all Marxist/Progressives. I always wonder why they do not own what they really believe. Maybe it is because what they believe has never worked. It has always ended in devastation for the society, both economically and morally for the society.
