“The Road to Tyranny” has taken us to the point where a Catholic University is being criticized because it is celebrating Christmas. Muslim students, enrolled at the University, knew that the school was a Catholic University when they enrolled. Now these Muslims want the Catholics to accommodate their unbelief in Christmas. Here is the story and it is a sign of the times. Be prepared for more of this type of activity and be prepared for the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) and Republican establishment to somehow twist this around to the point where they rationalize the Catholic University is Islamophobic simply because they are celebrating Christmas. I can hear it now how the Catholic University should not celebrate Christmas because it is offensive to some of its students.
Christmas is supposed to be a festive time of year, a celebration of hope and joy as winter closes in.
At a university in Chicago, however, Muslim students are now protesting that the college is too festive, and Christmas celebrations are overshadowing Islam.
To make the complaint even more bizarre, this objection is happening at Loyola University — a private Catholic school.
Yes, Muslims who willingly enrolled at an obviously Christian school are now upset to find out that… er… it actually celebrates Christmas.
A student journalist named Sajedah Al-khzaleh is one of the voices fanning the outrage. She wrote a piece in the campus newspaper essentially complaining that Islamic Ramadan and Eid celebrations just aren’t as popular as Christmas. In Chicago. At a Catholic university.
