The Republicans are referred to as war mongers by the liberal press today. Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt, both Democrats, were Commander in Chief during the World Wars when America entered and Lyndon Johnson, a Democrat was the President who greatly escalated the Viet Nam war. It was Truman, a Democrat who ordered the A bomb to be dropped on Japan twice.
What are Democrats today? They have a self-proclaimed socialist surging in the polls and drawing huge crowds. This is what Bernie Sanders, that self-proclaimed Socialist said, “You don’t change the system from within the Democratic Party.”
“My own feeling is that the Democratic Party is ideologically bankrupt.”
“We have to ask ourselves, ‘Why should we work within the Democratic Party if we don’t agree with anything the Democratic Party says?’”
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, DNC, cannot tell us the difference between a Democrat and a Socialist.
Obama, Jarrett, Holder, Axelrod, and the other Democrats today call for all the same policies outlined by Karl Marx and implemented by Vladimir Lenin in the Communist takeover of Russia.
Nobody seems to be able to give us a definition of Democrat but it is very clear that the party stands for all that is Marxist. The party members do like to refer to themselves as Progressives, so in the spirit of compromise and accuracy the name Marxist/Progressive is very appropriate.
The Republicans are also incorrectly named. They are often times referred to as conservatives. Republicans are often times referred to as the party that believes in adhering to the constitution, the party of less government, the party of low taxes, and the party that favors individualism. Yet the leadership of the Republican Party has refused to limit government, instead Boehner, McConnell, and McCarthy, ridicule members of their party when the members take a stance for those very things the Republicans say they favor.
The United States Constitution limits the power of the central government. Yet the Federal government grows under Republican and Democratic administrations. The First Amendment to the Constitution protects freedom of speech. The Republicans nominated John McCain to be their Presidential candidate in 2008. McCain is best known for collaborating with the Marxists including limiting freedom of speech by limiting campaign contributions which the Supreme Court later said was unconstitutional.
The current candidates for Republican nominee have a wide array of beliefs. Some of these candidates have consistent records of supporting the constitution, supporting lower taxes and regulations, and promoting individualism. Others, like McCain, claim to be a conservative for political gain and self-promotion, but have consistently supported policies to promote government and limit the rights and freedom of the individual. For sure, one of the candidates seems to have no idea what he supports other than himself. His forte is self-promotion.
The Republican Party is in more disarray then is the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party is clearly a Marxist based party and the Marxist/Progressive name is very descriptive.
The Republican Party needs to and must clarify who it is. They have not since Ronald Reagan. Reagan understood that he was first and foremost an American and a Constitutionalist. Reagan always believed in the greatness of the individual and said government should get out of the way. Reagan always believed that the government was the servant. Reagan was a freedom loving American. Reagan was never concerned with being politically correct but he was always civilized. Reagan always promoted America for the greatness of America and never for the greatness of Reagan.
The party of Reagan did not strive to be all inclusive. The party of Reagan said this is who we are, this is what we believe, and this is how American can again be “that shining city on the hill.” Reagan believed and Reagan led. Reagan did not follow polls but he led polls. It was his honesty, his optimism, his ideas, and his character that led him to the White House which led America to a period of greatness.
Ronald Reagan was a Freedom Loving American. The Republican Party should again become the party of Reagan, The Freedom Loving Party and acclaim the wisdom and vision of our founders who knew a great and free nation was a nation built on rule of law, a nation of limited government, a nation with divided government, and a nation with the people as the sovereign and those in government as the servant. This is the spirit that built our nation and it is the spirit that will rejuvenate our nation.
