The original Fascist was Il Duce Mussolini, who was a dictator, so he had complete control over Italy. Mussolini outlined his views in an article titled "The Doctrine of Fascism." According to Mussolini. In this article, Mussolini said that Fascism opposed individualism and only accepted the individual as long as his actions and interests supported the state. The state, Mussolini believed, was the ultimate expression of human unity and nothing should exist outside of the state.
Mussolini was also anti-religious, and in an ideal world he would have liked to replace the influence of Catholicism over the people with Fascism.
These beliefs of Mussolini correspond to the same beliefs of Marx, Lenin, Mao, and Hitler. All of these tyrants believed in the individual subjugating their desires and ambition to the dictates of the state. They were all collectivists. They were all atheists. They were all Socialists. They all opposed free speech. They all opposed a free press. They all opposed the right to freedom of assembly.
All of these Collectivists believed in total conformity of speech and thought. All of these Collectivists believed in the state determining the rewards the individual was to be rewarded based on what they determined to be in the best interest of the Collectivist state.
Mussolini, Lenin, Mao, and Hitler were all dictators of a state. They all imposed cruel and arbitrary punishment on those who disagreed with them or on individuals that agreed with them but were still determined to be a threat in some form. They all discriminated against groups because of race, religion, and sexual orientation.
In today’s world, where people can be whatever depending on how they feel, and words become completely arbitrary, those who believe in the same doctrine the Fascist believed now call those who advocate for free speech and nonconformity as Fascist. Those who are calling others Fascist, are employing the same authoritative and violent means of enforcement as did the original Fascists and Collectivists.
Yes, in this world where we can be anything we want, I guess we can label others anything we want. This must be a product of our education system where social justice and multiculturalism are primary goals of educators as opposed to teaching math, accurate history, proper English, or the ability to think; or it is the product of political correctness. Whichever it is, it is bringing about the inevitable result of Collectivism and all its sub-parts; the breakdown of society, morally and economically. We are seeing it in Venezuela today and to a lesser degree in other parts of the world including the United States..
