We know that Obama and the Marxist/Progressives will not listen to the message of the people. An ideologue will always rationalize his position. Obama believes he has kept his promise of fundamentally transforming the United States but realizes there is more to do. He will continue.
The question I have is with the change in the labels of those in control of the Senate, will the Senate truly change. We know when the Republicans took control of the House, the leadership, Boehner, Cantor, and McCarthy did not want to change policy, they just wanted to go slower. They did not start the change to a smaller government. They fought the members of their party when real change was presented. They still followed the belief they must go along to get along.
The proposed leadership in the senate will be no different from leadership in the house. McConnell, Graham, and McCain have never done anything to promote or support smaller government. They also have been compromisers. Unless the Republicans take bold action and name leaders like Trey Gowdy in the House and Ted Cruz in the Senate, I fear we will continue down the same path toward a Marxist government, just at a slower pace. That is not acceptable. Only a reversal of current policies will insure the United States remains a free nation with a free enterprise system.
