On the Senate’s first day back since an Arizona gunman critically injured Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed six others, Marist/Progressive Harry Reid urged his colleagues to join him in a more civil debate over the chamber’s upcoming legislative fights over health care, deficit reduction and the debt limit.
Marxist/Progressive Harry Reid, in an unusual aside in the midst of a tense debate over the budget impasse, took to the floor to remind lawmakers about the rules of decorum. Guidance like: Senators should not address each other by their first names, they should address each other in the third person … and so on.
“We all have to understand that these rules create a little bit of distance so senators are more likely to debate ideas and less likely to talk about personalities,” Reid said. “And if we do that, we maintain a more civil decorum as a result. So I bring this matter to the attention of senators because we’ve fallen out of this habit. It’s gotten worse the last month or so.”
The other side
Marxist/Progressive Harry Reid has escalated the war of words over the Cliven Bundy dispute, sensationally labeling the Nevada cattle rancher’s supporters “domestic terrorists” during an event in Las Vegas today.
Marxist/Progressive Harry Reid shot down an objection from Sen. Ted Cruz Monday, calling him a "schoolyard bully" for trying to insert instructions into Senate budget negotiations that would prohibit raising taxes or the debt ceiling.
with Marxist/Progressive Harry Reid ripping conservatives as “anarchists” and “fanatics”
Marxist/Progressive Harry M. Reid called President Bush a "loser" yesterday just about the time Air Force One was touching down on foreign soil.
Taking to the floor, Marxist/Progressive Reid, who is no stranger to the gutter, tried to drag Boonstra and other Americans who have complained about their experience with Obamacare in there with him, asserting forcefully that the ad was “absolutely false” and every single one of the anecdotal “horror stories” was “untrue.
For the sake of space we must stop. The example is consistent with Marxist/Progressives all over. This very typical of Marx himself and is a principle Alinsky perfected and taught. Reid comes by it very naturally.
